A great video. It brought back a happy memory to me as I walked Quinag in May this year. I didnt get the clear blue sky of your day on Quinag but I did get a clear view on 2 of the 3 summits. Thanks for sharing this.
I done this a few days ago in perfect condition. I did it the opposite way from you though. I have to say, it was one of the most enjoyable hillwalks I’ve ever done. I fell in love with the area. Well worth the 5 hours journey from the central belt.
Yeah, I really enjoyed these hills too, one of my favourite hikes. The whole area is beautiful, scattered hills rising from lochan dotted flatlands. Hoping to get back up that way this summer for some more.
Brilliant did this mountain many years ago but don’t didn’t make it to the top of the most westerly peak but did the rest so it was nice to see the views thanks Andy k
Thanks Andrew. It really is a fantastic mountain, the views south are jaw dropping. I love how many lochans there are dotted around the landscape. I'll be back to Assynt again soon I think. ATB.
@@andy-astro I'm looking forward to being with you one day on the other Assynt/Coigach peaks - Fiddler, Ben Mor Coigach, Suilven even. I'm nearing 80 now and unlikely to see these tops again, so thank you for bringing back so many great memories.
Brilliant Andy, the views are some of the best from up there. I did them a couple years ago in similar weather conditions. I ran out of water just before reaching the 3rd Corbett which wasn’t good. I love the view back down to the lochan after leaving the 1st heading for the 2nd, superb. 3 amazing Corbetts. Cheers Frank👍
Yeah, I really enjoyed these. Watched your vid a few months back when researching hills in the area. The views in Assynt are fantastic, I think it's the wee lochans dotted all over the landscape that really add to the beauty. Can't wait to get back up there for the other hills in the area. Cheers.
