While breaking into film on the coming-of-age drama, Brotherly Love, Quincy went on to capture the hearts of many for his memorable role in the 2015 Cannes and Sundance Film Festival darling, Dope, so it’s no wonder that he proceeded to create a cult-like following as a regular on FOX’s hit television series, Star, by Lee Daniels.
Acting opposite screen royalty, Queen Latifah, it was here that he cultivated his portrayal of Derek Jones into a character mainstay from his debut in 2016 until the 2019 series finale and it was this very role that has led to his next acting endeavor; starring in 50 Cent’s upcoming Power prequel series, STARZ Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
After working on his music for over a decade, he takes his cultivated sounds and will release his first EP in 2020.
