Wellard smith Wondering if that 'geographical region' is keeping up with 'cost effective' life saving Modern Technologies or that structure was built on the cheap [bare minimum via corporate bean counters]. Just lightly touched base on fire protection, whereas I can get into seismic protection of high rise structures built in known earth quake and tornado prone areas concerning structural stability, which includes 'Buttresses' that also suppresses 'Aeroelastic Flutter'. Back on topic of swimming pool, myself 'personally' have installed solenoid valves on high rise swimming pool drains in NYC, which are directly connected into fire pumps. Many don't think nor talk about fire protection, neither talk about safety of building inhabitants until its to late. Q: At that hotel can a fire truck [Hook and Ladder] be able to set-up, having clear access in rear of a building to rescue people from upper floors within it's reach? As something to carefully consider before booking your room. BTW, check the batteries in 'your' smoke and carbon monoxide detectors today, as my public service announcement of the day.
