This was uncomfortable to watch. Why did you invite this beautiful angel to your show just to talk about his sensitive family past? Ask him about his music his acting ect. Poor interviewing man. Anyways quincy love u hit me up ;)
+Hi Bye I agree. They even tried to manufacture problems like him and Justin having beef. What a terrible interview. I know they have to ask the questions everyone wants to know, but they were really disrespectful about it.
So true but the way he responds to the questions and handles the subject so maturely just shows what a bright soul he has. He has good looks, intelligence, smooth mannerisms and the ability to keep them from turning the situation into something ugly. Highly impressive. I think I'll dream about him tonite lol.
This interview actually made me like this guy, he seems grounded for a celebrity kid, I wish him the best and look forward to listening to what his music is like
Yea they are grilling him over something he had no control over just like no kid does. It hurts and I am sure he would rather talk about music. Puff woulda said that's it move on ya'll
Not really, I wanted to know what really happened with him and his Dad ... Why wasn't Al B there for him and allowed another nigga to raise him bc I didn't see anything wrong with All B🤔
l can't stand messy people. I hated this interview. Quincy seems like a very intelligent, grounded and sweet young man. Let him live his life and be happy.
I can’t STAND the main guy doing the interview. He looks low-key jealous of Quincy, and if he talks about being light skin one more time, I feel like punching him in the face. I hate when Black folks are always so caught up in that light skin, dark skin bullshit. Its that lingering Slave mentality that the white man instilled in us to keep us divided as a people. It’s so ignorant...smh
people please... leave off the dad subject. they stayed on that way too long and you could totally tell he was uncomfortable but he was really polite about it. well done quincy, not many people could pull that off. 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
bruh what's all this about light skin? his parents are black and have some white but that doesn't make much difference at all to any of it. they all seem really disbelieving when he replies and that's so rude!
Admittedly, I am interested in the Dad explanation myself. I mean REALLY we reeeaallyyyy wanted to know. Quincy is a public figure and still in the introductory stage. You would not ask Al B or Diddy those questions... that's an insult. But to ask Quincy is not. He's young and coming out, and it's better suited to ask Quincy.
Ebro and many other popular celebrities perpetuate colorism....because truthfully it benefits them financially...so it is what is...We, black folk, need to just rise above the bullshit.
+PewdieFarts lmaoo im so confused by your comment tho lol. youtube comment section is where we can write whatever da fuck we want so you shut up bitch.
Colonization isn’t going away and that happens all over the world..light skinned/dark skinned isn’t about racism for black people but stereotyping based on your skin tone. Everything we do is not and should not be linked to some damn western society influences.
Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. When you use it as abuse of person, then its a problem. Respect what other humans like or dislike. Don’t turn it into hate
Listen women don't just love men cos they're lightskinned ok. Personally I like Quincy because he's talented and think he's good looking regardless of the colour of his skin. I like Trey Songz too, he isn't lightskinned... ugh. Those kinds of beliefs are so wrong and outdated
I love all skin types Quincy, Lance Gross, Rick Fox, Idris. Funny I had the biggest crush on Lil Wayne wwaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy back in'na DAY, before he F'KD UUPPP and started looking crazy!! I'm just not sure what took place... WTF happened for him to let himself go like this 🤦.
Its really annoying... Idris Alba is a fan favourite. Weve gotta stop this focus on skin colour (and hair)for every dang convo we have...geez. Our thought process as ppl of colour is setting us way back but we dont get it🙄
+Deborah Henry You alwayzs hear the bad about Puff. But you can say no wrong about him. He took care of the buisness which was his kids and someone else's kids. Luv you Puff
Yall do know Puff never married Q mother . Puff might have caused problems for Al B Sure to have a relationship with his son. Puff cheated on Q mom and never married her. Yea the have some kids .
I kinda got the same vibe as dlynnjay that Puffy may have used his money and fame to cause more of a divide between Quincy and Al. Who knows but for some reason I got that vibe.
I hate nosey ass people who dig deep into a family’s personal life through their kids. If Puff had been sitting there , most of those questions would not have been asked. Also, being light skinned means nothing!! This young man has a beautiful dark mom and siblings . Either you are talented or you just aren’t!!! That interviewer is a perfect example of how racism operates within the black community. ( one skin complexion seeing themselves as more pretty/ handsome ,desirable in relationships , careers and the community)
Aww, he conducted himself very well throughout. Some of those questions were extremely personal and he definitely maintained a great composure. LOL at that "good looking" reference...
It's almost like it's common and okay to be light skinned if you a female.. but males.. it's weird for the black community.. they often get put in that box
+Anderson Brown RIIGHT!! I was thinking the same thing! I'm like, "Why do they keep saying he's light skin?" It's pretty obvious that he is. Society, other races within society I should say, continues to stereo-typically type cast Black men and women by color. Because the handsome Quincy Brown is light skin, doesn't necessarily means he has to be cocky. Anyone of any race and skin color can be cocky. Just like Idris Elba. Because Idris Elba is dark skin, doesn't mean he's a thug. Anyone of any race and color can be a thug. This needs to change, and it starts with us, and then we correct the ones who don't know any better.
Your grandmother wanted to protect you because she KNEW, that men can be just as jealous of each other, as women are jealous of each other. Jealousy is not gender specific.
just watched the unsung al b sure and can't help to relate 4 Eva my lady was written by his father when his mother kim was pregnant with him for jodeci....wow...how father twin all the way...
+tina bostick no..al b sure just reproduce the jodeci music..jodeci already had those songs when they got signed. but the music needed to be a better clear recording
I been around Quincy a few times in LA, he’s definitely a humbled person. He’s exactly how he is in this interview as he is in person. My first time being around him was at Bryson Tiller’s manager’s birthday party and people were asking to take pics with him (usually you don’t do that in this type of scene) but Quincy was all cool with it and took pics smiling. He’s never been that thirsty type of guy, he’s definitely different from his brothers my friends and I always talk about how attractive he is and how he doesn’t be thirsty with girls, his personality definitely makes him more attractive and one of a kind. He’s definitely grounded and has this humbling aura around him. My last time seeing him was at CB’s house and they both have a humbling aura around them, I definitely see why their long time friends, just cool humbled dudes all around
***** Yes I noticed the same thing, it's easy for people too be distracted because he's light skin. The funny thing is Kim Porter mom was very light skin, and Kim looked exactly like her dad. That's genetics for you.
Black people need to stop with the light skin, dark skin crap. Quincy is fine cause he just fine like his fine daddy. Not because he's light skinned. There are dark complected men that are just as fine.
ITS AMAZING HOW PEOPLE THROW ALL THESE HATE COMMENTS UP... NOT EVEN KNOWING HOMIE. IF YOU DID YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE SPEAKING... YOU'D KNOW THIS DUDE IS A COOL DUDE AND NEVER CAME IN THE GAME OFF DIDDY OR AL B. BACK... CHECK A FEW OF HIS JOINTS IN THE PAST... HE ISNT THAT BAD.... LET THE LIL HOMIE BREATHE.... #SALUTE
I think he will...especially because his mom isnt here anymore and she was a beautiful mocha lady...This young lady on Star as his love interest favors his mom.
7:40 i agree. So true my grandma was a second mom. My mom was there but my grandma who was my my mom's mom, we were close. Its so true. Kids with grandparents are priceless
Al, B Sure son wow, beautiful, beautiful . Hats, off for P Diddy rasin, a child that wasn't biology his but really his, he might as we'll be his born child. Beautiful, Quincy" Your A "STar"
I love the way he gave props to his Grandmother, and says that's why he sais he's grounded. He is so down to earth. He's a great singer, actor, and producer.
The interviewers are asking some tough questions. Sounds like they really want to be an emotional sounding board for Quincy, so that he can continue growing into the emotionally grounded man that his future holds. Learning & truly understanding where you come from is definitely a process for all of us.
Quincy is so damn nice and that’s so refreshing to hear and see in the world we live in..he let the anger go and allowed love in so he could have the relationship with Al that Lil Quincy didn’t get to have.. And special s/o to his maternal grandmother for keeping him grounded as grandparents are known to do..you have to protect your loved ones, especially the sweet ones because they are going to attract those with intentions to cause harm.
The questions are stupid as f***. He already said Diddy adopted him and if you watch any videos of Diddy or him and Diddy you will see that Diddy loves him just like his biological sons. Too many dam personal questions for a radio show, as him about his singing and what he's got coming up in the future.
At first, I saw your music on RU-vid n thought it was a pretty cool tune. a few months later, I listened and watched to more of your feed on ur channel. Now i'm sitting here listening to ur Interviews. I must say, U remind me of me n my music! (except for the Fam. thing.) I def. relate and respect your grind! I'm keeping the watch up. Regards from Germany. One
