So the important thing here is that the wrench is accurate. If you’re over torquing when the alarm goes off by a few lbs, wouldn’t it just be easy enough to set the wrench a few lbs low of target so when it alarms you actually hit the poundage you want and not over torque? If it’s consistent, that would be a simple fix to the supposed issue

Looking into buying one, any issues so far?

I personally have not had any issues. I use it mainly when doing service on my ATV and UTV and it’s been great. Granted I don’t use it everyday but for the few times I’ve used it it’s done me well and for the price I really like it. This gentleman’s video was really good and I made the decision to buy it based off of his video and have been happy with my purchase. Hope this helps.

So using the audio alert results in overtorquing, but doesn't the display show how much torque is occurring as well? It looks like in the middle of your video you're comparing the readings on the calibrator to the readings on the wrench, which tells me the wrench has a reading display? Why not just use it instead of the audio feature?

Yes it as a display but it’s on the side. When applying high range torque it’s difficult to read the display while applying the torque. Thanks for the comment Sam

As an electrician, am looking for a torque wrench that works well with low torque numbers, from around 5 ft/lbs to 25 ft/lbs. I know Kobalt and Quinn has a ⅜ have one that go down to 5ft/lbs but im not sure how good they are, do you any suggestions?

Greetings Alvilla, I’ve not had a chance to check out the Kobalt and Quinn 3/8 digital torque wrenches. You may want to check RU-vidr Catus Maximus. He just did a review on a Anpuds 1/4 digital torque wrench. In regard to click style I like the Icon. Thanks for your comment!
