Parker always seems to be so deep in her thoughts, those type of children tend to grow up to be sensitive and empathetic as adults. I adore all three (but really 6) sisters!

Awhhh ....Riley's trademark "ParkerPK" must have become obsolete. On the bus it was only "Parker" and here it's just "Park!..." From what WE have been seeing anyway, Riley seems to have grown-up SO much in the past year, but her closeness to and respect for Parker in comparison to the other quints has remained steadfast. AND I think the feeling being mutual from PARKER's side was verified by, among many other examples, Parker choosing Riley as her "Christmas quint" :) To ME their cognitive mutuality is as obvious as Ava & Lulu's, and any "Parker problem" has more to do with teaching/assessment incompatibility than with a LEARNING issue intrinsic to Parker. If Parker won't go to the mountain, the solution isn't to repeat what's not working; it's to bring the mountain to her :) So far Riley is enjoying the challenge - "We had so much fun in school today" -Riley's smarts will flourish as long as the subject matter is INTERESTING to her; Parker needs to feel HER smarts are being acknowledged in more of an apprentice-like, one-on-one environment where she can feel secure rather than persistently 'rated'. Even more than Blayke, she has a paralyzing (almost phobic) fear of failure.

When you 'take in' SO much as Parker does on a continual basis, especially as a 4 year old with a highly-reactive nervous system, it's hard to NOT seem stressed on a continual basis! No wonder Riley with her joyfully spontaneous expressiveness 4:33 is PK's 'opposites-attract' bff 4:36 "Let's go Park!" (Anybody doubting PK smarts, look who's wearing yellow rain-boots! :) Danielle's recognition of PK's 'surprising' girliness obvious here as her eyes keep being captured by "princess' stuff. Hazel 1:05 doesn't want to be Captain America! (Hazel being 'silly'? or is she really being costume-coerced? :) Riley favors calling Beaux 'buddy', like both Dad & Blayke; is Hazel calling him "bubba" (& "Maggie" 10:30 or is she perhaps saying 'maybe)'? Oh oh, Riley one MORE time utterly disdainful of Hazel's ("I'm gonna stick together with RILEY in my class, next week") hopeful reach-out 11:02 "Riley, come see!" Of course, Parker would be the one to spot salad! (lettuce for the rodents?) 11:19 , Riley "Park, come CHECK OUT these!" Riley = perpetual motion quint, exploring right to the end :) Oh, and rats are NOT 'yucky' OR 'ewwhy' girls!!! They are friendly and love their toys and their cosy spots to curl up & hide from the world. :)

Thank you for teaching the girls to respect and ask others befor just running up and petting random dogs!! I know it can be exciting but so many dogs get in trouble because strangers think they can touch anyone’s dog but if they get bit it’s the dogs “fault” for getting startled. Love your family 💗

As someone who fell in love with ferrets when I was six and I've had ferrets since I was Blayke's age, I understand how misunderstood they are. I don't think they know what it means to people like me when Adam said that they can bite instead of depicting them as scary creatures that stink and will attack. Ferrets do bite as babies like puppies when they don't know any better. But given good training and they won't do that.
