Great pilot and video!!!! I am trying to mix the channel in order to use the ailerons as flaps like you do to the few last seconds of your video but till now...nothing! Any ideas on how to make this mix???? Cheers!
Kon, not sure what radio Qui Qui uses, but on the JR you could do it by useing separate Servos for each surface, flaperons for the bottom wing then use a master and slave mix for the upper wing where the Servos move in opposite direction. This mix can then be assigned to a gear or mix switch. Only useful reason for this mix In my opinion would be like an extreme air brake on a down like to make the plane appear to stop...hope this helps!
Roy thank you so much for the tips!!! It sound easy to do it. Actually I am a FUTABA user but what you said seems easy to be applied on a FUTABA radio as well while it has the same functions! I will try and I let you know if worked! :)
Kon Iako No problem! I love the Flaperon function , I have several airplanes where this works well, Decathalon, Yak 54, etc, the trick is just to use a small amount on approach because your ailerons will still work along with both coming down like flaps. The 3D guys use a reverse flaperon function during harrier maneuvers so both ailerons point up, it provides extra lift during the high alpha or angle of attack/slow speed hovers... good luck!
Que estupidez....volar un avión de juguete como si fuera un helicóptero.....absolutamente lejos de la "realidad" con la que sueñan los aeromodelistas.....
