@@lagear2165 the most recent job I had got I had quit after 3 days not one , the Amazon dsp job I was working there way before I started posting content on RU-vid
Dude i literally worked the shittiest job and quit so many because i just couldnt do it. i did the door to door sales job for 1 day and i quit. now i work remotely as an AI software engineer. you will find something you love dont even stress
One thing about the older generation they always tell us to find something else before hand… which I’ve disagreed with from day one. These jobs don’t care about us and they will fire us in a heartbeat life is too short. This country is a trip and those bills can always be negotiated. Glad you did what was best for you
Ugh. The algorithm really worked in my favor finding your channel. I just quit a cold-calling sales job with no backup plan and honestly after watching this, I know I’ll be okay. Subscribing !
I for the first time in my life, left a job on the first day. It wasnt an easy thing to do. I felt so much guilt and shame bc I knew I had bills to pay but at the same time I wasnt willing to sacrifice my own happiness/peace anymorenfor the sake of having a job. God is good. Even though it took me months to find another job it still happened as I'm sure itll happen for you. Just got to keep hanging in there. For whatever reason, things always get worse before they get better. You've got this!
Got hired this past Tuesday, and I wanted to quit that day. It’s a draining job, and my gut instincts told me in the first 5 minutes there, that I wouldn’t like it. I’m trying to hold off until the next job interview in 2 weeks, but it’s really hard.
As someone who works at a small business and gets these solicitations in person and on the phone all the time. We have customers to attend to PLEASE LEAVE US ALONE. I'm so glad you listened to your gut and left quickly. AT&T Fiber is a wonderful product that doesn't require sus sales tactics.
Yeah, the job market isn't great. I hope you're able to find something better soon. Maybe you can take on some certificates in the meantime to secure a job? For me, I couldn't find work within my degree, only gig works related to my degree, so I am planning on babysitting full time since in my area babysitting pays more than retail jobs. I am working retail part time and using that income to pay my own certificates.
I have been thinking about certificates but I’m just not sure what to focus on and what will help me strategically. I’ve also considered babysitting, but I just don’t know.
@@ashiasimone98 I'm glad you're thinking about certificates, the good thing is that there are many options online. My personal suggestion is to go for a certificate that will lead to a higher paying job. That way if you get a higher income job you can pay off the debt quickly. Wishing you the best of luck!
I’ve worked a similar job omg we were trying to convince underserved areas to get a government phone bc they wouldn’t have a phone bill and I also quit after one day! These seem like MLMs/Pyramid Schemes to me
Better to be safe then sorry. I be wanting to put my last company on blast but I don’t need nobody sueing me for telling the truth and calling it defamation. Lol
I think you made a good choice to quit. If there is a school near you I recommend going to their website to see if they have anything like paraprofessional.
Sounds like a normal job to me 🤷🏽♂️, call centers, retail and any entry level job is full of nonsense that exploits both the customer and the employee in the expectation for company gain. It’s terrible really but this has been done for ages in one form or another but no one cares so long as they get their product or service smh never mind what’s going on behind the scenes.
O ya all those ppl selling from door to door don't take no for an answer, in FACT u say no so many times that it's an argument in seconds telling the to get off my property.
Factz @ashiasimone98 . Too many jobs I got denied for were jobs I was well qualified to do. Jobs are extremely picky these days. More now than in recent years. I'm college educated too and it still takes forever to find work. Don't really know what emplyoers are looking for anymore, seems like they don't know either.
