quitting social media for 1 year 

Hello! I deleted my social media accounts. back in 2022. A month after my 20th birthday, I came to a conclusion that it was time to end this "addiction". I did not want my 70-year-old self in the future remembering my 20s as being wasted scrolling around while being endlessly sad. Im now 22 and life has been so much better. Guys, life is way too short.

The cinematography here was incredible at conveying the essence of self-improvment. Great video that clearly had a lot of effort put into it, I'm suprised that it doesn't have more views.

I really want to do that, this morning I moved to another country I spent half my time browsing Instagram, I was planning my tasks when I moved for weeks and I spent my first day procrastinating, I think this is a clear message to me to start my life seriously

I quit all social media in 2021. Ive never made a better decision ever. Its been gaming addiction that was taking control but that too is getting alot better :) For the first time in my life Im actively taking steps forward in life consistently! And largely because digital stuff isnt sucking my life away nearly as much.

Beautiful video!! It's true what social media does to our lives. I became addicted to instagram when i decided to quit it 2 months ago. Till now I haven't opened it up and it feels so good to have some control over yourself and live life outside of this fake bubble. Life's truly beautiful when our eyes are not glued on our phones 24×7.

I'm in a difficult situation at the moment. I always tried to steer clear of Social Media, yet I always wished to be a creator. I wanted to share my story, my learnings and document my life. Now, I've started building and Instagram Account, which is a lot of fun, scripting videos etc. but I still don't know how I truly feel about it. I'm spending more time on Instagram now and I don't always enjoy it, I feel distracted and in a rush a lot of the times. So, I just don't know what to think or do. Giving myself guidelines or rules like a limit of using it per day, is always so difficult to stick to, but I also don't want to delete it completely:/

i tried quiting in fact for a long time the only social media was the one i contaced people with. But people kept sending me memes, talkin about the internet "news" i felt left out by people that i really like and sadly i got back to it but im trying to quit again. Really cool video i feel like everyone should try it! the world can be really pretty if you just look at it
