Dane's like one of those seasoned blues guitar players who has 20 different Fender Strats with slightly different tunings. We normal folk wouldn't feel much of a difference, but he does.

Watching the Stab in the Dark series makes you realize how freakishly in tune these guys are with their equipment. They literally can hold a board, know if it works or doesn't, and guess the shaper (even the region of the shaper) in about 20 seconds. They really are sommeliers in their own right.
I dont know man, maybe we are just caring too much. I mean, dane knows how to treat a board for sure. I noticed what u say, but it makes me think that I treat them too softly lol
Haha I found my go to board from 3-8ft waves. 5'6.5x19.5x2.35. I almost solely surf that unless its super small, then I'll surf my old school fish (6x22x2.8). I have a few other board but I'm selling them haha
