Revolutionary New Zealander QUIX delivers six ungodly tracks on his Dim Mak debut EP “Heaps Cool.” QUIX’s signature wonky trap is taken to new heights in "Four Letter Lie" and "Lucy’s Place," while "Riot Call (feat. Nevve)" pushes the boundaries of pop. On "Alpaca" QUIX layers the spitfire rhymes of grime MC XO Man over a sparse beat, then brings a bass heavy house feel to "Deep Home.” To round out the EP, QUIX uses a robotic male / female vocal duet to full effect on "Sweet Thing.”
