you were pretty right about the warm up boots! Almost all of my comp dances are barefoot so I wear them, but they also really get your feet warm !

My studio wears the boots over ballet shoes so that they don't get torn up and dirty.

@@astanford4272 It takes a little while to put on pointe shoes, so to save time, we put them on at home, and we don’t want to mess them up while walking on concrete to the studio

Most dancers wear those boots over pointe shoes when backstage but can be used for other shoes if you don’t wanna get them dirty

Wait.... pointe shoes aren’t made of wood. They are just made of multiple layers of fabric and glue. Great video though! It was super funny! 😂

Point shoes do have wood in them they point part is wood and some of the base

They have won in the box of the shoe! The fabric goes around the shoe basically to look prettY, it gives no support. I’m assuming you don’t do point…

There is actually no wood at all. It is just satin, glue, and cardboard with a hard leather sole.

There is no wood. So many people think they are made of wood but actually it’s not. It’s just layers and layers of fabrics and glue.

I’m dying Kyra is a freaking crack head and I love it some much, and yes the booties are to wear over your like ballet tap etc so they don’t get dirt or for tap shoes make not to make sound back stage of whenever btw I love your channel

the warm up boots have lots of reasons I use them for warming up before ballet class so my feet are more flexible and ready :) hope this helped

When you were looking at dance dots and your one friend said she thought it looked like one of those things that flies out.. I'm wondering if she meant something like a photography reflector. Usually, they are circular and you collapse them down by twisting the wire rim and stuff it into a smaller circular case.

The boots are to not get your comp shoes and feet dirty when you walk around the hotel or convention center and to keep your feet warm

Those boots can be used to keep your feet warm but some people also put them over tap shoes so they don’t slip when they’re walking around

U can use the boots so that when you are in a convention or comp you put them over your taps or turners or whatever shoe so that there don’t wear out

The warm up boots are also used so you dont ruin your dance shoes on "non-dance" surfaces.

You were thoese boots when you warm up outside or on concrete so you dont want mess up ur shoes haha or thats what i use them for at my studio. I also were them when i have to run outside during a class or somthing

Those boots are warm ups for your feet. U wear them at Barre to warm them faster. Also why do your pointe shoes have wood in them? Pointe shoes don't have wood...?

the technical name is actually sumo shoes, but the name has changed over time and people just call them warmup boots

You were them over flat shoes or point shoes so your feet get warm and then your shoes don’t get dirty on the comp floor

Those snow shoe thing are called booties you put them over your dance shoes and you don’t mess them up outside
