My son is going to QUT next year. May i know where is the most convenient accommodation (walking distance) for students where there are also eateries nearby?

Hi Sunnie, here are two that I’ve heard are most recommended: 1. Student One: studentone.com/ 2. Iglu: Iglu Kelvin Grove Student Accommodation (07) 3839 3733 iglu.com.au/properties/brisbane/kelvin-grove/ Personally, I don’t have any experience at any but I’ve heard they are the closest, most affordable and safe. I would also say that it depends on which campus your son is going to be at most. If he’s at Gardens Point, I would suggest looking at student one since it’s only 1 street away from campus. If he’s at Kelvin Grove, Iglu is quite literally amongst the campus. Everything is within a 5-10 min radius. Both are very close to food places, public transport and other activities. QUT also offers a free shuttle bus that runs every 10 minutes between each campus, so if your son does go to both GP and KG, it’s very accessible. I hope this helps answer your question! @@noendingve , thank you very much. At least it gives me an idea to find a suitable place. It is actually quite difficult to find the right place bcoz we are vegetarian. To find a place that is near to uni and at the same time, near to eateries that provide vegetarian food is quite a difficult task.

@@user-is3fd8hn8f ahh I see. I think both places are pretty great with vegetarian food! Student one is located at the city central in all their 3 places in Brisbane and is just a walk away from the grocery store as well. I also think that most places in Brisbane offer good vegetarian food. My best friend Hetvi who’s in the video is vegetarian and we spend pretty much all our time in the city just eating everywhere hahaha. If you’re thinking of choosing student one, I highly suggest trying to get their location at Elizabeth st because they have the best food places all up and down the street! It’s my favourite area in Brisbane city 🥰
