I recorded a stripped-down version of a new song I am working on, entitled "Wounded Healer". It is a song about healing the traumas we inherit from our ancestors and transform that darkness within us into life energy.
Lyrics:

While I was listening, I looked me in the mirror and understand that all that I ever being, the child, the young lady, the woman, are all in me, as their wounds. And now, who I am, in this moment, is the one who speaks, who says, for all the past versions of me: "Your wounds became mine Within me, we are one As I heal, I heal you" I'm thankfull to you for that. I have done my genealogy, and there is much trauma among my ancestors. Finding who they were is the first part of the journey and finding healing for them, to love them, to accept them, for we are them.
