I was just doing some research and the producer (Phil Thornton) was fighting to bring the show back in 2023 but the network (TVOne/Michelle Rice) is having a back-forth battle. I Think we should find a way to petition to help get it back.
39:28 That part is true. During the final episode at the dinner table, Chante sat there and said nothing. She just listened to what everyone had to say and they still were attacking her and then started attacking Claudette who was defending her
Love Claudette. What is it about the US black culture where younger people expect those older than they are to 'respect' them with the respect they don't afford others. The most disrespectful people are the youngest Lil Mo and Chrisette (Claudette the exception). Chrisette likes to lead and is a stirrer that likes to pretend she's coming from a place of liking and considering Chante when the reality is that she wants to lead others into gossiping about her, and turning against her. While Lil Mo holds grudges and pretends to be a friend.
I hate that Chante was the villain this particular season. I like them all for certain reasons but the only one that was doing too much for me was Leela. Her interview with them magazine people was so cringy!!! She could have been nicer to them people or just not do the interview!! Everything got on her nerves, girl!!
Chrisette is a great singer for sure. But some times she comes w/drama & dramatics. It can really make her look childish w/mess. And she is so insecure that is when she can takes things some time very personal for no reason.
I really cant believe the way Chante was in the villain role. She really switched up from last season, or was Kelly Price just that bad and repugnant that it made her appear to be an innocent, little lamb? I wonder if Kelly saw season 2? If she did, given her personality, I bet she got satisfaction of seeing Chante Moore be in the hot seat. Anyway, this show is really a career killer for good singers who just happen to have nasty attitudes. It took out, Nikki Gilbert, Angie Stone, Kelly Price, and Chante Moore.
@@NOIMM27 Nah, no they werent. None of thsoe women were innocent. Although I do think they went a little TOO hard on Chante, but she was not innocent. But neither was Chrisette and ESP Lil Mo-she was more wrong than Chante in a coupe of instances. They were right abt how Chante was acting and they tried multiple times to talk to her. I just think Lil Mo made it worse than it had to be. Chante was there for a check instead of trying to become friends with those women. She even said it herself. It is what it is.
Nicci was never the villain. Y’all just let Syleena get away with everything. Monifah and Keke later admitted this and said they should have trusted Nicci more. And you see throughout all seasons, Syleena had an issue with Nicci, Angie (before and after the series), Keke, Latavia, and she had an issue with Monifah (before the show). For some reason, y’all missed all of that
@@JLPerryTV Nikki was DEF a villain. She switched up on Syleena when it came to Keke. She's a fake and a phony and she tried to discredit and work against her and that was clear after she showed up to her house and tried to overshadow her announcement. Not to mention that FAKE charity she tried to the dupe the girls into performing for a situation that was actually meant to benefit HER and her grp-and they were terrible at that. Angie Stone is another one, taking advantage of those women, bringing her daughter along, w/o asking the other women and that whole mother earth/love was an act. They can all blame editing all they want to, but I can pinpoint EACH of the times where these women put themselves in the role of the villain. It was clear that Chante ddint mesh with the new circle and it was onHER to speak up abt things, instead she chose to be secretive-even after they all tried to talk to her. She also came off as very dishonest and a LIAR. Nobody made them the villain, thats just how it worked out. But Lil Mo is def a villain herself. Thats the only part they got wrong. Chrisette is a phony too.
