This man was gifted & blessed beyond his years....I listen to his music daily. His death is and always been suspicious...my Favorite song is all his songs....if I had to choose 1, it would be LOVE, LOVE LOVE

Dave Chapelle stated at the peek of most celebrity’s success they lose it. I’m telling u life is spiritual!! He was seeing his spiritual state connected to this machine called the music industry.

My fav songs of his are Thank you (With June Conquest) - Sack Full Of Dreams - Little Girl - To Be Young, Gifted & Black - Thank You Master For My Soul - We Need You Right Now - Flying Easy...As well as the instrumentals Sugar Lee...Valdez in the Country...The Slums and I Love The Lord (He heard my cry).

I believe it was a total accident,sources said that he was known to open up the window,and he would sing.I think on that terrible tragedy night he lost his balance and fell to his death.

My absolute favorite Donny Hathaway song: Some Day We'll All Be Free! It's a powerful message too me that has an even deeper meaning for the masses of people! "I really don't believe that Donny Hathaway willingly killed himself!" Today, there are so many entertainers and recording artist who have spoken out concerning star wackers in the media. while others have said the managers or others within the entertainment business have stated it would be easier and more cost effective to just kill off the talented creators they've signed to contracts in order to gain access to thier music properties (coveted) or insurance policies that these entities have taken out on them; we hear of artist speaking out about selling their souls to entities in exchange for the riches and fame they've obtained; we continually bare witness to actors dying as if they're being reaped after their non-evergreen contracts have become due with no one willing to renew them. Surely all these entertainers can't be lying about what's really going on behind the scens; they are taking drugs and drinking to maintain their sanity and deal with the pain and anquish that accompanies whatever it is that they're seeing! Did you see Wendy Williams falling out on stage on her show after witnessing something that was so shocking, frightening, horrible, that it shook her too her very core?! We hear of or see far more entertainers today in battles with drink or drugs which ultimately leads them to secretly sacrifice friends, family, or loved ones to move up the ladder or appease whatever is afflicting them; suicides: even stranger, unexplained deaths where they have no physical injuries to their person or their found in places alone in compromising positions (David Carradine & Michael K. J. Hutchence). When Amy Winehouse died, her neighbor said, he heard screaming, and the sounds of something monsterous within her home during her death?! All in all, these different statements and/or their behaviors are coming from somewhere or something outside of themselves luring them to fame and mammon (Matthew 16:26). Even Tupac said, "how can one be an angel surrounded by all these devils?" It seems as if they're trying to tell us something: cryptically speak out about wha'ts going on behind the scenes (David Chapelle: "the industry is sick; Martin Lawrence: they're trying to kill me!") without actually saying it (the finger raised to the lips saying shhh); we see many artist today openly showing the wicked agenda that's being fed to the masses around the world.
