I miss you RC. As a cross country truck driver for 26 years I listened to hundreds of hours of RC's teaching and having read the holy bible I believe RC was pretty close to the bible in his teaching and in his theology. There will never be another one like RC. He made the complicated easy.

For me the knowledge of a person is based on the spot on questions that people throw and am just amazed at how Dr Sproul is able to answer each and every question with such wisdom and knowledge. I just love his quick wit and sense of humour. I miss you man of God❤️
I’m looking forward to meeting R.C. in heaven. His book Chosen by God is the best teaching on the doctrine of predestination I’ve ever read. I thank God for his life.
It is amazing how he could use such high level English, yet the way he use it, anyone can understand what he meant without understanding all the words.
I love these Question & Answers with Dr. R.C. Sproul because even though I have had a 42 relationship with Christ, I still don't know everything, So when I listen to these Questions and Answers sessions I start to find out that I was wrong in some areas I believed in, And I also learn a great deal I did not know about so, I get nothing but knowledge out of these sessions. Amen.
I'm very grateful for this man's body of work. His body of work speaks for itself. I'm very grateful we are able to continue learning from it. No Doubt he is with the Lord and we'll have a renewed body upon the return of Jesus to join his soul with the Living God

I was talking to a friend about some highlights of this conference and a comment I had posted elsewhere, and we thought nowhere could be more enjoyable than here *:* _I love how many young people are packed in there to get Papa Sproul's take. I also love the Portuguese lady with the blue blouse (& turquoise scarf). Her presence and enthusiasm - wow! I was putting myself in her position yesterday and thinking how great she was articulating yourself, and to have the gravitas to stand up in front of RC Sproul and present herself in the secondary language - awesome! --- For God so loved the world that little Portuguese lady study Theology and come to deliver at conferences!!_ Years ago, I remember reading where Jonathan Edwards scheduled himself to sit in on George Whitefield's sermons. Too bad time travel is impossible - 'twould be quite the experience! Just need a DeLorean and iPhone!! .....hmmn, I'm watching Papa Mac and Papa Sproul now on a color television in my palm! I just read matthew 13 the parable of the weeds a few days ago....Jesus was explicit in explaining that the one who sows the word is Jesus, the field is the WORLD ( not the church ) and the good seed is the people if the kingdom. The weeds are the people of satan.....Sproul actually compared this parable and applied it to the church when Jesus was very clear that He is talking about the world ( every human being in and outside of the church) ....thoughts ?

I don’t understand what these people believe (sounds Biblically sound) I listen to the teachings of Pastor Joseph Prince who teaches that we are The Righteousness of Christ through Faith. How does that tie in with the people who follow these men’s teachings? Because I never heard it taught all my life in The Church, until I met Pastor Prince through his online Church.
I would love a follow-up - I would ask: is there a distinction on the matter of "intemperate" talk between when it's speech to believers vs. unbelievers? I would tend to think speech to-conversation with-the unbeliever should always be in patience and with kindness, even where there's challenge. But to the believer who is digging in his heels about justifying error, would it not be reasonable to speak more strongly and even with hostility toward their argument? Anyway, I miss this man's clarity and presence in the church in the world.
The answer to the first question, I thought it was mainly the male father’s genealogy and nationality that counted. So in Boaz & Ruth’s case, their offspring would be considered Boaz’s race rather than Ruth’s.
Deuteronomy 23 question on Ruth. With all due respect to Dr. Sproul, the answer comes from the oral Torah Yevamot 76b. A female moabite is allowed to marry into Israel. However, male Moabites are not allowed to marry into Israel. Ruth was a convert otherwise Boaz would be committing a serious sin marrying outside Israel.
