@@uptowngeorgiaave900 I agree, people be sleeping on Sauce, people forget Sauce actually filled in for Mickey in the 90's for a few shows for RE, Sauce is a beast on the congos, Sauce and Smoke my 2 favorite congo players, Sauce is very creative on the congos, When byb is on they congo shit Sauce has always cranked and still is, The only thing Smoke really got over Sauce is hand speed and its not like Sauce is slow either, Smoke and Sauce both legends to me, I've seen both of them do great things but Sauce is right up there in the discussion when it comes to congo players.
Maybe its me but I swear Smoke is way better now than he was even in his prime as a younging, that boy a beast and he still got the hand speed, people use to kill me saying smoke using the same beats well it seems like he heard the rumblings cuz he been cranking even more over the past few years

Man, between Smoke and Go Go Mickey, just can not call if fair to these other young smackers on the Congos. Hotsauce is another legend but Smoke is on another planet compared to these other greats.
This is a large annoyance to people who are on stage who are there to work who are there to do a job you have people who are friends and family members of band members you must inform your family this is a job even though you're performing you're getting paid to do a performance you are paying a sound company to keep your sound running a cable could go out that need to be replaced anything can happen on stage then you have people who are stepping on chords that don't need to be there stepping on connections they don't freaking need to be there and it's a real pain in the ass to troubleshoot something with a bunch of people in the way it makes it that much harder and that much longer to troubleshoot to find out where the problem is to correct it and a lot of you guys who don't run so don't have an inkling or idea of what it takes to troubleshoot something because the kick drum went out over the lead guitar went out and nine times out of 10 it's because of one of your people I didn't stepped on the cable and forced it out of a cabinet or forced it out of a microphone line or disrupted connection by step is going to disconnect again then here it is you got to replace this line while the show is going on and you got people who just in the way and you guys seem like you don't have an understanding I want to cop an attitude when the engineers in stage hands are asking you to get out of the way because you're hindering the job why must you act like a groupie on stage tell her enjoy the show don't have a drink don't have a meal why you on stage you ain't got no mic you're not a performer you're never playing instrument get out the way why do you think it's cool to get a because I want to see my stupid behind down and watch your cousin perform you want to be seen go learn the instrument this is such annoying thing that's why a lot of times something go out I don't know your friends and family on stage I'm going to let you stay out I'm not going to hunt for it I'm not going to keep asking people to get out the way move you're in the way that's not my job my job is to fix a problem but when you got a bunch of people in the way I ain't fixing s*** your s*** going to be out cuz you're creating the problem for me where I got to ask another grown person to get out of my way cuz I'm trying to do my job no your lead guitar go out tough titty you'll hear more stage but it won't be out there you won't be out in the crowd ain't nobody got time for that man keep asking 5 and 10 people to get off the stage so you can do your job anybody got time that's why I love it I hate saying this that's why some of the stage Engineers I know don't feel like doing the job cuz you got so many people on stage in the freaking way that do not need to be there I mean let's try to be funny and you guys are that are there to perform why do you need your friends and family who wants things you're not helping your performance it looks honestly it looks like a bunch of idiots standing on the corner that's how it looks you don't see that at the Apollo you don't see that in 9:30 Club you don't see that in the whole lot of different spots they don't live there friends and family climb all over the stage and all over the people you know trying to putting up with that so do the engineers in in the stage hands and the people that's running the stage and sell them a favor keep your family and friends the hell off the stage tell them to get out into the audience stay out until the audience and enjoy the show cuz in reality ain't nobody got time to try to take your people to move so they can freaking find a problem if a problem arises cuz me if you should drop out I'm not I'm not going through that man I'm not going to tell the 20 people to get the hell out the way on stage I ain't got no business on stage I'm not doing that I ain't going through it I got to keep asking you to move you all in my damn way I ain't part of the performance I'm part of the damn crew to get s*** running but to keep trying to tell somebody to get the hell out the way in the music is loud no I ain't going through all that your s***'s out too bad when you get the people that's not supposed to be in the way not in the way then I deal with it but I'm not going through all that and the kick drummers out so get them 20 30 people off the damn station be there stepping on s*** they don't know nothing about stage life only people know about that is the people that set it up run it and you who are performing and if you too stupid to not understand that they don't need to be on stage and in your way while you're performing that means you don't have no respect for your craft you don't have any respect for your fellow band members video trying to perform and your friends and family is all over the stage climbing all over everybody that means you ain't got no respect for your class man I mean this is bottom line you don't care nothing about what you doing so when you treat it like that then you cause others to treat you in the same format you don't give a damn why should we you got people stepping all over cables who shouldn't even be there and when you say something to him like me being an engineer stage hand they don't give a damn man what you talking about want to argue one of you anybody going to that man your Kick Drum go out so in the house engineer is bugging the day going stage engineer which is me about fixing the problem and I thought I'm not fixing it now you got to fix it when they get the people out the damn way I'll fix it other than that I'm not going to that cuz I'm the right person I don't give I don't give a care I will embarrass you I will let you have it I will tell you to your face in front of everybody there when you keep these people off them straight who don't have no business on the stage then stuff will get fixed I've done it on Plenty of shows with something just went out and I left it out cuz you got your friends and family jumping all over the f****** stage jumping on cables that I got the repair later on y'all just don't get it man it's a lot of work to troubleshoot I'll gigantic system like that you don't have a clue man it's not a home stereo it's not a DJ system you got cables running all over the place and God forbid if you running a new system and you get ethernet cables and what not running around you screw for anything cuz everything is running through that cable that one table was running everything from the stage to the house and they break that line and generally most sound companies only have one line that one line is going from the house to the stage you break that connection that's it unless they got a snake and some in about 300 microphone cables you going to be as I always say asked out cuz these new sound systems they're not running on her Audio Snake anymore they running on the damn computer a computer generated line that's the snake the only thing you got from that you got the microphone cable that's all stage but everything is running to a single box and that one box is running to the house and the minute you break that cable everything that's going on stage it's going to stay on stage that's why people always trying to tell you stop having your folks up on stage is that one cable that one freaking cable cost $1,000 for $2,000 depending on the length of it and most sound companies don't carry more than one of them you ain't paying enough money to be button to be buying back up lines so y'all keep it up you need to bass guitar in the house and it ain't there it's your fault get your people off the stage
If u are referring to the guy with the cell phone he’s one of the promoters of the show. He’s the one paying for all of it so he can pretty much do what he wants.
