R.I.P. Amazing Škoda 14Tr & 15Tr trolleybuses in Tallinn, Estonia 

A bit of an update. Trolleys 289, 293, 279, 302, 306 and 308 are scraped. Trolley 307 is now a museum vehicle and it's parked near the Trolleybus depot's main gate. 423 was turned into a museum vehicle and then stood at the back of the depot for about 2 years. Then it was sold to the same man who bought 295 and it's now parked in the same place were 295 is parked.

Yes, our trolleybus maintenance is shockingly bad. If we maintained the Škodas properly they could easily run for another 50 years

The units were sold to San Francisco when first manufactured and I have glorious memories of them humming up and down the hills. Sadly all’s scrapped now

The early 14Tr units did have that melodic tune when slowly accelerating, while the later ones had the more "linear" sound that's in this video. The early 14Tr units had protruding amber (yellow) signal lights on front corners instead of signal lights on front and side panels. The windshield was one-piece with three wipers that all worked in unison, and the doors had long one-piece glasses. All 14Tr and 15Tr units had unmatched suspension, which was perfect for Soviet- and post-Soviet roads.

Yep. Had a ride in Vilnius trolleybus routes 2 and 19 in last year. Same good old 14Tr :) I noticed that Vilnius is upgrading to Solaris Trollino too.
