Since I can't find this particular song by its self on youtube. I thought I could create this video. I OWN NOTHING, this is all Michael's Talent and work. This is simply a tribute to the most beautiful and talented woman on this planet.
Michael, If you happen to ever read this, Know that I miss you so very much. I would give anything if you would release your solo album or even new material. Save the world from the crap that's out there today pretending to be music.

David she was only with the Runaways 5 months, they cut her from the Runaway Movie and she has refused to go to any of the reunion shows. I don't think she wants anything to do with the runaways.

As a jazz player I only learned about th Bangles and Michael about 3 years ago. As I watched thiir videos it was Michael who grabbed my attenton the most. I feel like I got to kmow her as a friend [abstractly] . When I learned that she left the Bangles during their tour for Doll Revolution and subsequently disappeared I was deeply touched and concerned about her. She has never reappeard. We will never know the facts and her whereabouts. Many of us have sent her messages by way of her videos and tribute sites but no response. Michael, we miss you so much but I sadly fear you are gone for good.

You are a brother in Arms in the Fight. She is My Angel, My Queen and My Goddess There will never be a woman or a Musician like her. I can tell you two things 1) Vicki Peterson has said that she still keeps in touch with Michael. 2 I cannot say who because that would give away the secret. But I have been told by a person close very close to the band that she lives "on an estate near Vancouver BC' that was all that he would tell me. So I know she is alive and have a general location of where she is.

In fact, I think she did not leave the band during the Doll Revolution tour, she simply anticipated the stop the band would be forced into by a few weeks after becoming aware of Debbi‘s second pregnancy. The band was active again a year and half later with Abby Travis, perhaps it was too long for Micki to wait.What I mean is that in my opinion she wasn't responsible for the failure to promote Doll Revolution. That‘s what happened....simply.

There's more info here. She's not dead. Her birth name was Susan Thomas. Not sure why she took the name Michael Steele. Also used the name MIcki Steele. The last name ends with an e. Not related to the former chairperson of the RNC despite the uncanny resemblance. ;) Quit band in 2004/2005. See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Steele_(musician)

Larry, I know what your speaking of. I am glad to see you understand she isn't dead. Unlike so many others. I have had privledge to talk with people that have worked with her. And they haven't heard from her. She just disappeared, I wish she would come back she was too talented and too beautiful to just disappear.

She is very very much alive. Prince didn't write it. Prince only wrote Manic Monday, and a song called Jealous Girl, that he Gave to Michael, but Michael never recorded it or used it in concert. I would do anything just short of selling my eternal soul if I could talk with her, and maybe get her to have dinner with me.

Yes it is. Recently the L.A. chamber of commerce raised the bar to 75,000 USD. If your group has 8 or 10K members the amount to be donated for each member is truly within everyone‘s reach. Of course I would gladly partecipate.@@jsoward1

XRP Sadly its not on Spotify, there are only two known recorded performances of Crash Wisdom. Even though they performed for like two years. Michael's Crash Wisdom is only Bootleg as far as I know

I suggest you read the lyrics, they are on the internet. Vicki played on the 5/12 not the 6/2 anyway. During the Reunion in 2000 an interviewer asked "So are all the Wounds Healed?" Susanna pipes up and says "oh yes all the wounds are healed" Then Michael speaks up and says "Not all of them"

If you're referring to the photograph taken outdoors with Micki holding a seashell, it was taken at a friend's house near where she used to live. Hard to believe that photo was taken 20 years ago. Time flies so fast.

@@madpicken Original bassist Annette Zilinskas rejoined the band in 2016 and they still play a couple occasional shows a year. Susanna Hoffs just released a solo album a couple months ago.
