Last place i saw my Grandad alive :( I was 6 and always jumped to going to every home game with him , but for some reason i didnt want to go that Saturday and he collapsed during the game and later passed away in the hospital.....Anyway I have so many happy memories from that ground , i remember our last game there against Blackpool and i wore that god awful pink vileda shirt xD everyone went on pitch at fulltime and i got some turf which went in the garden. Happy times!
I remember it well. There was a time when anyone could get in for free after half time. I lived on the reverse side of the hill behind the ground for around 10 years.
One time visit around 1984 with a girl i met on holiday in Galway, I wonder whatever happened to Margaret O'Connell the schoolteacher from Marsh in Huddersfield 😍
