I remember losing my favourite Rapala Pineaple (my Name for it) lure up in Nth WA about thirty years ago. still havent gottn over it. snapped off by a beautiful Bluebone.

Cheers mate!! Usually we do a cook up when we don’t catch as many fish and need to make the episode longer 😂 hard to fit it in with all the action on the Wenlock and not make the episode too long.

Aero guard tropical strength. Although it’s not really needed on the floats. Maybe just on dusk but they aren’t too bad the rest of the day.

We eat fish most nights so this breaks it up and it’s a bit easier and quicker. Actually tastes really good too 👍

**NEWS FLASH** "AUG 2024 has now had 6 tourist's lose their lives to crocodiles on the Wenlock River. All 6 were among seperate groups of 4WD enthusiasts from southern states, inspired to boat & canoe down the river after watching one of youtube's favourite channels." 🤣 🤣 🤣

@@TrueNorthAdventures In the early 80's I swam the Wenlock in flood to talk to a bloke on the other side (long before the bridge). He was caretaker at MTS and had been yelling at us and waving his hands about. So swimming across and landing 200 odd meters down stream, I walked back to where he was and his first words were "You know that river is full of Croc's". He also told me he had heard us winching through the blacksoil south of the river for the last 3 days and we were 4 to 6 weeks too early to be thinking of going any further north. So I had a very anxious swim back to the car, after stoping the night on the south side, we headed over to Weipa. Ever since that trip I have wanted to do what you guys have done and traverse the Wenlock. Now that's never going to happen for me, so I totally love watching you guys do it. 👍👍👍
