How sad to learn of my neighbour's passing; only met him once in 35 years, but a lovely man, and clever businessman too! RIP Mr McGovern, you are sadly missed, God speed.
i all way used to see MCGOVERN when i went up to the smoke70 80 90 not 1 or 2 but 10 plus and well turn out never met the man but the comments say it all R I P
Bastard that must of been a right big outfit.all them trucks parked up.waste game is about the best to be in as long as you can do everything bent.which I bet they did in them days early 80.s.TO...90s..good look for 2024 cheers Nicky from Leicester
Usually I'd be sad to see a legend of the waste disposal game pass away. But the way he treated my Mum and Dad was disgraceful . My Dad was a great mentor and friend to him in the early days ,but he stitched me Dad up big time. None of us forgive him . Hope he treated his family better . If you ever get to heaven ,mind out who you stitch up Tony .
What a cowardly act by you Gilbert ....If you've nothing good to say , couldn't you just stay quiet ? Maybe Tony saw something.....By god , but talk about the classic keyboard warrior ....
@@jb6319 if you knew the truth you'd have a different opinion of what happened. I could write a book on what went on with the double crossing snake. Before you criticise me, find out the facts mate. He was supposed to be a "business partner" but instead he was a snake. I don't normally speak Ill of the dead but he is an exception for the damage he caused.
@charliegilbert8873 I stopped in that yard 30 years ago in a trailer with my family . Right near the water tank that was on top of the iron work . We stayed there 2 or 3 weeks , and for some reason I had an uneasy feeling, and we moved on . About three days later there was a huge storm, and the tank fell off the iron right where our caravan had been . The last time I saw your father was at Dave Smith's funeral, which I think was 2002 . In Australia now .
