Thank you for showing some actual off-road footage. I spend most of my time on roads but just want the ability to hit some trails like the one you are riding. I don't want an "Adventure Dad" GS or similar bike, just a motorcycle that is a fun ride on the road and has some dirt ability.
Thanks for sharing mate. I've started taking my rninet scrambler offroad too and will be posting some videos soon. Questions, does your bike struggle on the high revs when trying to get out of a sticky situation or steep hill?
Just as suspected, looks like a street bike taken off road. Went out on my Drz400 with my friend on his Ducati scrambler. Rode his for a minute(street only) and I’d never want to take that thing off road. Really just an upright street bike that you will hate yourself for dropping in the woods. I guess the term scrambler is appropriate as you’ll be scrambling to make it through this stuff. Nice riding though!
Scramblers are obviously more capable then a street bike off road - I think that’s where the justifiable comparison is. (FYI, BMW’s next Scrambler is rumoured to have a 21” front wheel, and better ground clearance!) if you know about Elspeth Beard (first women to go RTW) her BMW R60/6 had similar specs to this - ground clearance and shaft drive/boxer engine. With a Unit Garage big tank, this could be a good RTW bike - nice to ride over some crappy roads, and fun through the bends!
