Richard Wagner - Moritz Moszkowski: Isoldens Tod Final scene from the opera "Tristan und Isolde" Sanna Iljin, piano Recording studio at the Folkwang University of the Arts, 9.12.2014
Hey Sanna, I just came from the twoset video and I want to say that your singing is absolutely beautiful! You have yourself a new fan! Bonne chance à vous ! Vous êtes vraiment talentueuse !
Same! I was looking for a full length recording of her singing Habernera (probably spelled it wrong) as that one video has made me appreciate opera and want to learn about it. And that one piece was my fave from that video.
It is fair. She didn't get this good without dedicating her entire life to discipline and study. She gave up pretty much everything else to be this good. It's like saying an Olympic athlete is just lucky to be so talented, right? It doesn't give full credit to the athlete.
Van Cliburn used to talk about how he wanted to sing, using his ten fingers on the keyboard. This is what singing on the keyboard sounds like. Your opera knowledge shines through in this interpretation.
Superb performance of one of the greatest passages in all of classical music. Plus she's a brilliant operatic singer. Thanks to Twoset for bringing you to my awareness. Kudos.
My piano teacher always always said that a singer who can play the piano can make the sound way more lyric and poetic. I used not to agree with r, but now I switched...May LingLing have me some mercy. Sanna you’re very blessed and I want to watch more from you, singing or playing the piano!
Sanna das ist ganz unglaublich. Ich konnte von Beginn nicht aufhören dieses Video von dir an zu schauen. Deine Musik berührt mich sehr. Liebe Grüße aus Werden:****
Your passion on the piano inspires me, I always dreamed to become a musician, the life paths and decisions took me to become Engineer)) Best regards from Mexico, I hope you can sign one day here.)
I had had the insane wish that you would play and sing at the same time - but your playing is so perfect that in the end, I didn't miss the singing. I imagine that your are in every respect what Alma Schindler must have been like when Gustav Mahler fell in love with her!
Ihanaa musiikkia Sanna! Ja hieno esitys. Paljon potkuja uralle! Juuri tänään muistelin sun sanoja : Alku on aina vaikein! Tässä se kyllä ei ollut vaikein, - hieno lopetus myös, koskaan nähnyt noin paljon henkevyyttä lopetuksessa!
So many sharks in the aquarium and no one realizes why she even plays this piece. Im curious to know whether Its for a family member, loved one or a specific experiece. Its been three years but certain moments can last longer or not. Which we all are familar with. As a beginner pianist Id guess this piece contains piano, mezzo piano, mezzo forte and forte right.
