YZF V3 is more powerful as it also as more Cc than the V2. However, V2 has the perfect sporty look and is sleek whereas the V3 looks bulky and blunt. That sharp, edgy, killer, smart look is missing in V3. V2 is by far the sexiest bike in terms of look and style!!
Dinesh R Practical for masses? There is pulsar, fz, unicorn, passion, activa (honda might even release a repsol edition lol)! Why do people always whine about how these supersport inspired bikes like ktm rc, yamaha r15, pulsar rs being uncomfortable!!! This is how these bikes are designed! If its uncomfortable go buy any of the above mentioned bikes
I honestly don't understand the fact that how far, how often and how many people ride their bikes on a race track, most people ride on roads and that is what practical world is all about and also people can't really go for bikes that are exclusively for track riding unless they are rich. So it is always a boon for any sports bike to have a bit relaxing riding stance which will serve for the real world usage as well as track riding. Come on bro. I'm not saying that sports bikes should have an upright riding position but can be a little forgiving and relaxed so that they become more usable particularly for those who love to go for long trips.
Sir, the v3 is slightly more powerful on papers with its extra 5cc (ie. 155cc in total) , i really enjoy watching your videos sir, keep up with the same spirit -Love from Mumbai :)
Bro I need your help to choose my first bike. Yes, I am a beginner rider and I have a we little experience on riding honda unicorn and pulsar 150. I want to chose between these r15 v3 abs(2019) or cbr250r abs may be duke 250 abs (2019) but I don’t like ktm and I left the fz25 because of some engines problems. My only concern is whether their power delivery was easily manageable by me or not. Will u recommend me to start with a 250cc bike or 150cc r15 v3?
For V2 owners who rider hard or ride on track. You can change your clutch to slipper clutch of R15v3 stock clutch. Buy R15 v3 clutch boss, clutch pressure plate, clutch plate, spring, spring nut, outer spring plate and the friction plate with clutch plate etc. Except the Clutch Basket. You can still use the Clutch Basket and rest change it with V3 part. Then you have a slipper clutch on you V2. I've done this and i feel no problem even after approx 5000 kms.
No comparison with RS200 bro.. Even no comparison with NS200. They can be used everywhere unlike R15 where you get palm, shoulder pain after your honeymoon period with the bike. Also NS200 or RS are much powerful.. Just drive the bikes back to back and visit Xbhp site for knowing the comfort, long term maintenance of both bikes. You will get a clarity. This video uploader is in euphoria and is speaking in a trans. You must get to the reality. One should talk both about pros and cons. He is saying that R15 V2 is crying and other biker on R15 V3 is flying even with pillion.. V2 too will fly with a pillion.. V3 is not way too powerful than V2. Bro.. If you have spare bike, and don't bother about seating posture, dont bother about pillion, don't drive long hours, dont drive in traffics, dont bother about power or specs, dont bother about VFM and want a track focussed bike with reasonably power(in its class), good engine, slipper clutch and good looks.. . Then get R15 eyes closed. Else choose between NS/RS/FZ25(simple bike but much powerful than R15 and vanishes till 130kmph+) or others. Choice is yours.. Good luck 😊👍👍👍
Srinivas Teki thanks a lot brother ur comment helped me a lot.... Yaa bro ur right the ns and rs are damn gud for d price and do offer a excellent comfort safety too... And once again thanks for telling abt d maintenance bit frm xbhp, surely Goin to check tht out
Srinivas Teki enjoyed reading your comment.... And gotta admit, after reading your comment when I rewatched the video, I felt things are way exaggerated....
Danush Sai cheers bro.. Please dont make a decision about NS/RS since i have spoken about them. As i believe that your money is hard earned, i suggest you to spend good amount of time in Xbhp and try to take feedback from owners of NS/Apache/FZ25 or whatever bike it is. Xbhp members will clear all your doubts. Consider all points like Fuel efficiency, comfort(main thing that a bike will make you love it in long term), power, usability, maintenence costs and reliability. Make a good decision bro. 😊😊😊👍👍👍
In morning --Dont turn ignition on and hold the clutch lever and kick the kickstarter three times (this will make the oil circulate slowly since the engine is not started) --after above step turn on ignition and start with kick starter (may be 1 or 2 your bike will start) without twisting the throttle . Kickstarting in morning will increase your battery life for sure. --now your bike has started leave the bike in idling position for a minute and half. After it you are good to go. Dont throttle abruptly for atleast 3 kms in the mornings. Follow these not only for now, but for rest of your bikes life. Your engine will last forever. Since your bike is new, be gentle with your bike and dont cross 60kms for the first 2000kms and dont ride your bike at constant speed and vary the speed.
Bro tale of V3 looks like Gixxer SF....not an attractive just like V2. It's been three yrs fr me with V2 n steel looks sexyyyyy....n thd eye catching of my society where I live😘😍😍😍
You like v3 more may be because it suits your size, but its V2 which is the best looking and best design, Eventhough its little less powered, its my favourite
People who have v2 like here.... it as an amazing road grip and super breaking control I meant the road grip. I haven’t Tried V3 yet so no comments about it
i enjoyed Ur review broo... but v2 is dammm sexier nd more elegant than v3.... R15 v2 not only ruled India roads but also Indian hearts with its sexy tail nd bulky fairing ..... but I still wonder why Yamaha has discontinued v2 in India even tough it has a such a large fanbase ...
I don't agree with ur statement " yamaha knows what indian market wants unlike other brands" In the department of delivering what people want Bajaj, KTM ,TVS are way ahead. Maybe they aren't as refined but they do give what we want.
If u look at the bikes from behind, especially while the speedometer is turned on (as in this video), V2 looks damn sexier than V3!!! (Full digital cluster sucks :P just look at the RPM meter of V2!!! Just amazing :D) Performance wise V3 wins! But still the side view and tail of V2 is sexier than V3!
