@@TheOneDumDum yeah i think because it was not in his prime but if i must look or comparing with new generation like the minion i don't think ldy can beat them even tho in his prime... the pase of game is quite different minion is too fast for korean pair, the only pair who can stop them is japan contingen especially endo n watanabe, with a big wall of defence that's the point because u can't beat minion speed with speed, but using japanese defence strategy its quite work, overall get well soon ldy n can comeback to the pitch

@@nisscharostislav4951 I've watched badminton for over 15 years. The minions aren't the best that ever played this sport. They are among the best currently playing, but there have been more effective pairs in the past. The last Hong Kong open, the first full match they played against each other. That was the minions in their prime and an uninjured LYD off his prime. They went 3 sets and one of the main reason why the minions won in the end is because Kim Ki Jung was gassed. His endurance is no where near Jung Jae Sung or Yoo Yeon Sung. I've watched halim hariyento, sigit budiarto, Chandra wijaya, hendra setiawan, ha tae Kwon, Kim dong moon, all the way up to cai/fu, kkk/tan, lyd/jjs/yys, endo/hayakawa, goh/tan, etc... if you go back and watch matches from back then, you'd see how entertaining badminton can be when you can't win rallies easily because of how good everyone's defense were. Endo/yuta have beaten the mions 5 times in a row. All of those pairs had better defense and attack than endo/yuta. Lyd/jjs vs cai/fu were some of the craziest finals ever. When lyd was on his prime... he changed the way badminton was played. All the pairs can no longer smashes and drives their way to a point. Pairs that relied on speed and power had to improve their defense because their attacks were getting countered. Simply put, the minions are playing in a period where there's only 3 pairs with similar skills level. Not taking anything away from them, they are currently among the top pairs. But if the minions were playing during LYD' prime... the minions wouldn't even be in the top 5 pairs back then

@@TheOneDumDum İ am not korean ör nor endonezya, i understand exactly what ur saying but every people has their own statement n i still with my logic because of the minion double men in the 21st century is more entertaining and Increase competition in terms of technique and speed, even tho endo n watanabe already beat the minion like 7-2 but there in the future kevin and his partner can also catching up their loses its just about the time like the first 5 match betwen minion n boe they also lose over 4 : 1 n now minion is owning the dęnmãrk pair, i am not expert at badminton like you but if i follow my logiç based on the record of minion win over loses, by the statement of the commentator i don't know her name n the timestamp when the match happen but i heard once she said " minion is the most exciting entertaining n explosive talented badminton player i ever seen n also they increase the dynamic of old matches to the new generation, because the new generation will always beat the old generation there is nature law " n also based on how many youtube creator make a content about the art of badminton from the minion. Yes i am fans of this endonezya pair but i talk about reality now over the pass 20 years match.... İts only my opinion don't take it personality Teşekkürler 🦊
