@@CyclingSouthLincolnshire THIS IS THE FIRST ONE IV’E HAD BUT I HAD TO USE AN OLD EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE OLDER ONES. SO NOT SURE OF THE OUTCOME OF ANY OF THE OTHER ONES. BUT HAVE NEW ONE NOW SO HOPEFULLY MORE TO COME IN THE FUTURE. THE ONE THING THEY DID SAY WAS SHORTEN THE FOOTAGE BUT I ONLY SENT IN ONE MINUTE BEFORE AND ONE MINUTE AFTER WHICH IS WHAT THEY SAY TO DO ON THERE’RE WEBSITE 🤷🏻♂️.
@@markgt3492 About the ‘one minute before/one minute after’ requirement for police reports - when I submitted dash cam footage, police said they have to specify this as otherwise folk just submit the ‘juicy’ bit and there’s no context. This applies to incidents, so long as there’s full context, before and after the event, they’re happy. For evidence of ‘phone use, I guess that sometimes it may be useful to add a separate close up but otherwise they don’t want edited footage either - no zoom-in, left, right, special effects, etc.
@@byEckyThump CHEERS I DO SEND CLOSE UP PHOTOS BUT THE VIDEO IS RAW. I ONLY SENT WHAT THEY ASKED FOR. BUT THANKS FOR THE ADVICE I’LL SHORTEN IT WHEN APPROPRIATE 👍👍.
Interesting you say that. I don't know if it is a cyclist related thing, but Lincolnshire police never ask me for one minute before and after. I usually submit a bit before and after, but never stick to a 1 minute either way rule.
