R2-D2 built from scratch model, is a COVID-19 project, which began in late June 2020. It’s mostly built from parts and pieces of various items (wood, polypropylene plastics, clay, nails, various strips of tape, strips of metal, electrical wire components, etc) I had lying round. This has been a very therapeutic hobby for me and a beneficial way of dealing with the stressful uncertainty of our world’s current state.
If all the negativity out there is getting the best of you, take a break, take a breath, pursue what inspires you, and just keep going.
