they arent 2015 chicago high. at 13:52 you can see when he holds it close the heel panel kinda slopes down like a mid and the swoosh is fat. You can also see right after that before he puts it down theres the jordan logo on the tongue. What im confused about is that the tongue tag is white and all the chicago-esque mid colorways have red tongues, so even if this was a custom idk what base was used.

Gotta agree with you that the whole vibe is off. The scripted scenes of buying really killed it for me. But they are probably just too big to be the same ol boys and the same ol show.
