While you are right about spending the most money, staying at 300km/h on a highway for long periods of time while slaloming though traffic and making sure your car does not spin out and end up as a fiery ball of scrap metal does take some skill and balls too

This is one of my favorite moments in the game imho. So far on my end they've been gapped by 2 traffic cars (R2 and Corolla), NA1, and another R32. I'm seriously considering getting the 33 just to use in this specific race.

I'd like to say that I see the logic; The egoistic characters are not focusing enough on what they should do in order to succeed. They're for the most part trying too hard, suffering a lot from inexperience, having way too many distractions going on - all while not being able / don't want to realize any of their shortcomings themselves. In general. As a matter of fact, they're loosing the focus on what actually matters in any given moment. As they rather balance their succes on the edge of a knife-blade, relying on circumstances & coincidences that are favorable - instead of not taking the effort to understand the many aspects of the challenge. Sometimes it works, they can succeed - but in most cases the risks taken are too big - and that's why they eventually fail. In either case - *they most oftenly even don't know / understand why* they succeeded or failed - and hardly learn from mistakes AND successes. Just my take on it :)

Yeah, I've seen the vid. That rabbit (or golf, depends on the market) has one advantage; lightweight. Doesn't matter of you have 500/600bhp on a 1600kg car if the other guy has 400bhp on a 900kg car. The difference on hp per kilogram, gearing, aero (even if the rabbit is a bit less aero) will do a huge difference. About the Porsche... Dunno, bad luck? Bad driver? Even though, that rabbit was badass.
