As someone who was raised by a step dad and had a biological father that wasn’t present, I *completely* agree with Santino. My “step dad” is my real dad in every single way, he raised me.. I would give anything for him. Anyone can be a father, it takes a real man to be present and be a DAD. This episode made me emotional.
A great episode. I’m a single father of 3 kiddos…. The mother walked out on us & I do everything I can because I love them so much. It’s a HUGE responsibility being a dad, but it so worth it. They are my life.❤️
I’m always shocked to hear stories about mom’s walking away from their own children. It’s equally shitty no matter which parent abandons but imo there’s something darker about a mother doing it because arguably there is suppose to be a deeper connection, like you carried those children for 9 months, took care of them as infants, etc. and none of that imprinted?? Sounds psychopathic. I wish you the best of luck, you’re a great and honorable man for pulling through for your kiddos.
@@Stephen-lt1tp You're pretty alone in that opinion. Rudy is spoiled and useless. She just sits there saying nothing unless forced to talk. And doc hasn't come back for some reasons that we aren't privy to.
The fact that there’s not footage of Bobby contemplating a cat enclosure, making the plans, and now trying to convince the cats to use it is probably the biggest content ball drop ever
I loved how bobby was able to make An vulnerable, leading him to share his perspective on Father vs. Dad (which I'm sure so many viewers could relate to). Comedy x Real life is the best combo and these two do it the best. The world needs Bad Friends, don't stop!!!
Andrew is right on with explaining the “Dad” & “father” as well as growing up and becoming your own man when you have no Dad. I’m 100% unlike my “father” & forever a Dad to my sons.
As someone that grew up without a dad, and doesn't have contact with their bio father, whoa, did that hit home. Santino just going in raw in this episode.
Fancy, Jules, Juicy, Bobo, and Andrew are S-Tier Bad Friends Avengers. George is Hawkeye and Carlos is the maid who changes out the paper towel dispenser at Avengers HQ.
Andrew, I was 21 when my son was born. Forward to now, I'm 25 and his mom and I aren't together anymore. I was worried countless nights that my son would grow up and not consider me his dad. The moment you spoke about the difference between a father and a dad my anxiety dissipated. No one ever told me that, or knew I needed to hear it. Thanks for all that you do (You too Bobby - even while I can't relate... at all, hahaha).
Got to see Bobby perform for the first time at the Hollywood Improv last night. (even got to have a lil interaction during his set). Possibly the funniest most energetic comedians on stage. If you’re a fan I highly recommend you watch him live!!!!!
Andrew was spot on with the I’m a man and your a man that made me. It’s complicated. It’s a completely different level of respect you have for a man you call your father. I’m on the recieving end of this situation with a father that wasn’t there and I’m on the right side of providing this situation to a child that will some day have the same “respect” for their biological father regardless of the relationship into adulthood. POINT IS: Be a good Dad not just a father and do the righteous thing when it comes to being a part of your child’s life regardless of the situation that you are in.
Santino has been doing the podcast rounds these last two-weeks and the dad conversation has snuck on on most of them. It’s refreshing to hear some serous chat from Andrew.
George really let his kids doctor convince him his kids a genius by saying he knows more words than normal like he does to every parent with a perfectly average kid.
Tbh i miss Doc ... nothing against juicy but i miss the rants and theories and especially the back and fourth with him and bobby. Bring back black magic 💯👍
Doc was the best. But can’t help wondering if you , like I , thought he was going to bring out Doc when he said roach 🤣🤣😭❤️😭 im sorry not trying to be racist but they talk about the gook thing all the time so I thought it was a bit
This episode got me man. My step dad (I don't call him that, he's my dad) also raised me and I can relate to everything you said. Thanks for sharing Andrew!
Andrew talking about his father is so accurate. My biological father still tries to guilt or find ways to cause issues and sadly it took years for me to just realize, you can't change people and can only do your part to learn and be better.
Was having a rough morning but now I'm sitting on the beach with my bong and my Bad Friends... Things are looking up! #MondaysAreOnlyAsBadAsYouAllowThemToBe
I told my kids when I die one of the options I want is to let me decompose into soil that can be used to plant my favorite flowers in a garden. I’ve got tattoos of flowers all over my body. It’d be perfect & they love the idea as well
@@paramoree013 I edited, wasn't clear / wasn't complaining. Point was how Juicy is the perfect addition to the show. She never makes it about herself and finds way to make these two even funnier.
Mortician here: It’s not possible to 100% clean out the ashes of every individual. Majority of retorts (incinerators) are made with a porous brick material so there is always residual “ashes” from prior cremations. We do what is called a “sweep” then take what we have gathered from the sweep of the crematory and put that within what’s called a processor (bone grinder) and following that, that’s what gives you the “ashes” you receive from the funeral home. Also…. If there are differences in ashes…. It’s typically contributed to the temperature or the readiness of the cremation process itself…. If someone was not cremated at the correct temp or duration it could leave you with a darker almost charcoal like appearance. Other differences that can be apparent are typically in the size of the cremation segments themselves; this is attributed to the processor that was used at the time. 😅😊❤ Feel free to ask questions peeps ;)
As a Montessori teacher…. It’s not where smart kids go. It’s where parents like George send their kids after googling Montessori and spend thousands of dollars for kids to do the same stuff at standard daycare
For what it’s worth r2d2 is the biggest hero in the Star Wars universe, seriously watch it with that in mind and you will see everyone dies several times without his help
Bro I can’t be the only one who loves when there do the commercials. I truly be dying laughing at Bobby trying his best reading the script for the commercials, bro wtf😭😭😭😭😭
The reason 1:11:36 ghosts exist and we bury the dead is so they don’t “haunt the living” which is actually referring to the trauma that we are left with when we experience death. It lingers. So we built systems to deal with our feelings in a way that puts the trauma to rest. Ghosts are just a metaphor for the trauma we feel left over. So if you don’t give a shit about people then there are no ghosts in your world, but if you ever feel guilty about the dead then there are for sure ghosts that will haunt you.
I'm so proud..rootie toods came in late(no problem) and the first moment to her to talk she naturally grabs the mic to make sure it's close. You done good, boys!
the Philippines has one of the largest above-ground cemeteries in the world - people live on top of these above-ground mausoleums because they are so poor - they can only rent those spaces - time on the rental runs out and they pull the bones out, clean the spot, and now it is ready for another body... so many people and not enough land to take up with burials. then the bones are piled up. Philippinos are the most lovely, kind people in the world! MGA PINOY!!! mahal ko kayo!
Santino talking truth on fatherhood. Been struggling with it myself. Not having one to show me how and having to learn to be a dad on my own is a real eye opening experience.
Right On!!! When I was young and unfortunately it stuck with how I raise my kids. When we talk about feelings I was told “you will be alright”. No matter what it was. And if I got hurt physically “did you die?”.
When bobby doesn't know what to say after someone says something, he repeats them.. he always repeats Andrew after he says something. I counted at least 5 times this episode
