For a long time _ i was under the impression the Ryzen 3 1200 was based on the Athlon architecture and not the Ryzen architecture and that's why it didn't perform better.
Whoa...i had a chance to buy a pc with this cpu and GTX 760 think...for 190$ and also opportunity to wait and buy 12900ks for 230$ yep just this CPU nothing more but i'm glad to chose i9 😂🙌 and next month this beast was ALIVE! 😊this is a silicon from heaven it was a real upgrade from 5800X everything is done and open instantly
This CPU was necessary for AMD. A reminder that they were always the underdog and a reminder to them that they can never be the best. Today AMD is suffering because they have to compete with, well, AMD.
I used a Ryzen 5 1400 for years, can say the performance is practically the same, even though it has SMT, finally was able to change it to a R5 4500 a couple of years ago, now I have to upgrade my RX 570
I had a Ryzen 3 1200 for a bit while i saved for a better CPU. Overclocking wasn't great at all. I could barely get 3.7ghz stable. Either a bad sample or a skill issue. It got me by but it really struggled in BF5 multiplayer for example.
The 2060 are just about max a ryzen 1200 can handle so its a good match but all otre components are way new for this cpu , maybe its even the 12nmn 1200 ryzen (10% faster)
