Sorry i'm a total newbie when it comes to suspension parts but my R34 is lowered a little bit with coilovers, I installed front and rear upper control arms as well as caster rods hoping to reduce camber to preserve my tyres, will these traction arms help in anyway? You said it's needed along with the upper arms but what exactly to they adjust?

That's ok, I'm no expert ether, I just have a go, it seems like they can adjust more camber and toe together because if you adjust the camber arm to be longer, the traction arm will stay in the same spot and probably put a lot of pressure on the bushes, It just seems like its not so good to try and adjust the camber without changing the traction arms too, plus you get more solid bushes so it stiffens everything up a little too!
