This is incredible. I love the 8-speed ZF in my M4 Comp. It’s much better than the DCT. Allow me to reiterate, the DCT is better than the ZF8 when being compared stock-to-stock. However, tune-for-tune, the ZF8 is muchhhhhhhhhhhh better. It’s not even close. I drove the F8X platform for 6 years. With that being said, I’m not trying to be biased in anyway.
Nice install. The 3.54 diffs in the R34 GTR are really terrible with the std 6 speed. They come alive when you change them to 4.11's. I'm sure the drive is nice but those slurred shifts behind a RB just didn't sound sweet.
The paddles were installed as an "RnD" scenario. They aren't the favoured means of changing gear, although this is purely down to a personal preference.
It's still on stock diffs/ratios, and they suit absolutely perfect.. The 4.11 will give mind-blowing acceleration, but 1st gear will be very irrelevant.... It will be a very useful 7 speed😁😁
