Glad the video could be of use to you. That’s cool, it’s the way to do it I think. You can add so much of your own personality to the car that way aswell.
Yeah I’ve just recently ordered the GTR crash bar and already have the headlight brackets. You can get away with using the gtt crash bar with the gtr headlight brackets if you make a spacer and drill a hole in the crash bar to fit a bolt.
Yeah exactly right, and for the most part the pricing is not too bad. Can’t say I’ve added it all up yet but these are rough prices. Front z tune kit + bonnet + Nismo copy skirt extensions and rear pods was around $3k Oem Rear 1/4 (I got an extremely good deal at the time) $2600 Oem rear bumper $1200 Manual trans $1800 RB26 itb + plenum $500 (thank you marketplace) And about $4k in other parts… I also managed to get the car before the prises went berserk.
HEY! so i was just doing the same conversion, except i kept the gtt fender and used a gtr-style bonnet with gtt fitment(thin as gtt), i ran in this problem that i have the same gap between the bonnet and the bumper, i was wondering, if your parts are genuine, is the shape with the gap is located, concaved? because my bonnet seem to curve up much more than the bumper, so idk if its the bonnet that is made poorly, or the bumper. thank you.
Hey mate, my front end parts are not genuine but they are of decent quality. The reason my bumper was dropping and creating the gap with the bonnet was because the brackets that bolt to the head lights and reo were not supporting the weight properly due to still having the gtt reo bar. Once I got the correct reo and the weight of the bumper was supported properly the gap went away.
Jsai fitment looks really good for aftermarket. Do the panels come pre-drilled with the holes for mounting? I’m looking at going JSAI for my front end conversion but I wanna get something that is bolt on more or less lol
Hey mate, yeah the quality of the JSAI stuff is pretty good. Needs a bit of work but I’ve definitely worked with worse frp products. The mounting holes are all drilled, the only parts that aren’t drilled are the z-tune vents in the 1/4 as well as the indicator holes and the washer jet holes on the bonnet aren’t drilled either.
This lot of stuff I got from www.rhdjapan.com a lot of my other parts I got from Trust Kikaku or a shop that’s local to me called Sleeka Spares. I haven’t used a Nissan dealer myself. As for the body kit itself I got it from a place called JSAI aero Front bumper upper retainer = 62240-AA400 Front upper center retainer = 62298-AA400 RH head lamp bracket = 26040-AA300 LH head lamp bracket = 26090-AA300 RH hood hinge = 65400-AA400 LH hood hinge = 65401-AA400
@Danny N44SKR no problem at all, yeah I had the same problem in the beginning. There were a few relatively uninformative videos around but most of it was just going through parts diagrams haha. Thanks! Means a lot to hear people getting into it!
@@darrynjames oh, Thanks for the response. I appreciated it cuz it’s an old video you posted. What material is it made of and is it still available? Do you happen to have the link? Thank You so much and hope you will be finish with your conversion one day 🙏
@kent4786 no problem mate, I try to check the comments here from time to time but I’m more active on Instagram. www.jsai.com.au/product/nissan-bnr34-gtr-v-spec-style-frp-bonnet-jsai-aero/
@AwesomeFPV thanks mate, yeah I already have the steel rear quarters from Nissan that I’ll be fitting. Nah I’ll be getting a GTR rep spoiler most likely. Genuine spoilers are pretty hard to find and super pricey. I think I’ve found one that is decent quality rep with the adjustable blade still, so I’ll probably buy that and see if I’m happy enough with it.
@@darrynjames yeah silly prices I need rear side skirts and spoiler but I like that GTT spoiler and might just have custom supports made up out of billet aluminium!
@@darrynjames Don't worry about negative comments, these people don't work on these cars the same way that we do. I myself have a GTT and also want to put the GTR Front on it - you really helped me with this video! Keep going, you've done a great job here mate! Greetings from Austria!
@@import-racers hey mate, thanks a lot. It’s really good to hear that you got some use out of this! It’s hard sometimes but I try not to focus on the negative comments on here. Appreciate your kind words.
