This A31 is getting an RB25 Neo Turbo swapped from an R34 Skyline onto an RB20 Turbo Engine... How does it run???

Turbo that came off is an R33 rb25 turbo, 21U is Rb25 R33, OP6 is r34 rb25, rb20 is a different 08u or something of that effect just took my 20 turbo off myself and it has nissan motor on the housing. the r34 turbo has a larger rear housing over the r33 turbo thats why it comes on later, series one r33 turbo has the twin fin metal front wheel, where as the series 2 R33 turbo has the nylon wheel and doesn't have the twin blade look from memory, its been awhile snice ive had all three in front of me

Awesome info! Thanks for confirming that. I had a suspicion that the old one was from an R33, just tapped out for the vacuum port. I had no idea when I bought the motor though lol

Hat off for having motivation to finish project car. I got tools and some wrenching skill, but managing work and offtime was difficult. Just want to rest during offday. Haha....

I completely understand. Between working all week long and wrenching on the weekend and still managing to spend quality time with the wifey, it's not easy haha. A lot of patience for all parties involved lol

16v is rb20det turbo. 45v1 , v2, v3 , v4 is rb25det turbo

Stock 20det turbo is 16v, only 25det come with 45v1 and 45v3

RB25 turbo upgrade. Thats a good choice. Heard you can pull the turbo power to 300hp with just some simple boost tweaks.

Yeah, man, I want to keep it simple for a bit... maybe go with an HKS 2530 later in the future or something similar but for now, the neo turbo should hold me mover a bit.

We were supposed to travel back actually in June but our flights were cancelled because of the pandemic. Lucky it did in a way because we for sure would have been stuck.

OEM RB20 injectors and stock RB20 ECU from an R32 GTS-T. I did have a DW300 or 400 fuel pump. I can't remember which. I think it was a 300.
