This probably needs an arkos update and it will run way better. Would be interesting if you did an update and follow up. The r36s also shipped with an awful version of ARK

this is one of those that with a firmware update and the tape mod could be a budget recommendation on the scale of the R36S, 25 bucks is a BIG difference and this is the first RK3566 in the 50 bucks range EDIT: why does this and the RGB30 have a chin on the screen?
There is the basis of something there and you’re right when you compare the % price difference - it’s just a huge shame that the work to get it there has to be done by the purchaser !
For the chin: I'd assume the chin for the USB C port space. No matter how chinless they try, unless they put the USB C part behind the screen, then the chin will exist. If they do wanna put the USB C port behind the screen, it probably won't be symmetrical
