Just found your channel 3 days ago and your content is actually great. As a high silver/ low gold player on console, these vids are giving great info that makes me feel like a better player from just watching them. Honestly keep it up man
Here is a tip if you solo queue and are tired of no one listening. Take on a friendly persona but he assertive. Say “hey dude can you push with me on 3” instead of push on 3 with me.” It seems so small but it’s made such a difference. I made it to diamond 2 solo queuing this way. Just never lose your cool with randoms and they will tend to listen to you better. If you stress them out or yell or belittle them they will not perform.
Also, sometimes going monke brain helps. Even if you're losing, the occasional "hey guys. wanna try something stupid?" works wonders for morale and usually shifts our teamwork for the rest of the game.
tbh youre in no position to yell at people in solo q, because youre solo queueing. Unlike in a five stack, it’s natural to expect that your teammates may have one or more of the following traits - Does not have a mic - Does not have good game sense - Does not have good technical skills - Bad at team coordination - Bad at callouts and giving information - Bad at acting on information, or even not understanding the information. As such, you need to pull both your weight, and your team’s weight in that game. On other occassions, your team may be the one carrying you instead. Solo queue is a gamble, if you seriously want to rank up, you need to start building your own five-stack team to queue together.
The way I see it, you want the attackers to KNOW there's a roamer. You don't necessarily want them to pin your location, but the everlooming threat of a flank play and random picks while they secure the building is big. It wastes lots of time and utility, and if not taken care of, can be devastating later into the round. Remember; the clock is on the Defender's side, so use up as much of it as you can.
@@quandaledingle7026 Don't let them see you in drone phase if you can, but make your presence known before the end of the round. The threat of an interrogation can fuck up attacks, they will waste a lot of time and utility attempting to get rid of you. If you play it right, you'll usually get away with a kill and your life, or at least a trade on some utility. Similar to characters like Oryx or Vigil, your utility as Cav is your presence, not any "utility" you bring
I've been watching lots of Siege guides from everywhere, but this is only ever the channel where I actually feel educated and good watching the video. It's long, but on a positive note. It is very elaborate and I feel like the way you explain things (+ the humor) is really effective. Please never stop making great content man, thank YOU for the guide! Been playing Siege a lot better now after your videos, might really start our ranked journey with the bois~
Absolutely love this video, I think the most important point to this video is playing time it frustrates me how people don’t know how to waste time or act on scenarios. Thank you for the video gotta send this to my hardstuck homies
Hi, can you make an in-depth video where you share all your knowledge on how to play as an solo queue attacker against opponents who are very good at making info stale (defenders who shoot drones and reposition effectively - basically a different side of the same topic you covered in the begining of this video at 0:40 ). Thank you.
depends on how coordinated both teams are. many champs in solo queue may drone a small bit before going into the building but go off sound and very aggressive pushing to disorient teams until they take enough map control to start droning objective. so basically aggressively taking map control and utilizing lack of comms to find weaknesses within their team
late comment, but i agree with you when you say to play the time in the more ... "intimate moments" of siege. In my stack im always calling time; 30,20,15,10. Too many rounds have been lost to being too agressive in the last moments when not needed.
great video mate another positive effect of the echo drone entry is that often people try to shoot the drone because they dont know about the player behind it
I'm gonna tell you a thing I've noticed and that I'm sure other people have noticed as well. You know when you sit on a cam and it gets shot then you get this static black and white screen, YOU CAN STILL HEAR SOUND FROM THE CAMERA after it's been shot. If you switch camera you can't enter back in the broken cam, right?. Ubisoft changed this because before you could go into a broken cams and make sound calls on some cams this happens to, then they changed it so you couldn't do it anymore. It's been in the game for as long as I can remember. And it's not like it happens every time. Sometimes you'll hear static noises only. But this is an exploit that's been around for a long long time and if you're really good with sound on this game you can make precise sound calls. No one is talking about it, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noticed. Would be great if a or some content creators gave this some light. I've reported it multiple times to Ubisoft support but they just don't care or say they can't find it. It's a pretty unfair exploit and shouldn't still be in the game after this many years. I mean I've used it because it's there and I kinda wanna win. But I know Achieved knows about this because he used it in one of his streams and no one in chat took notice of it. And I could just imagine how this would be used in professional play, even if they shot a cam someone can make accurate sound calls, out of thin air. If everyone knows about that exploit in CSGO with the hidden glitch that would let someone sit dead on a spot and have a full line of site somewhere on the map. Like a cloaked live drone
@Alex Thornton You can’t leave the cam after it’s been shot, because it won’t let you go back to a destroyed cam. You’ll hear static noise but still be able to pick out subtle sounds. Only works on security cams not on drones if that’s what you’re asking.
i am a player who recently transitioned from cod to siege and i can completely agree that using the skill of repositioning all the time helped so much in this game so i can confirm this information
The issue with solo queuing in lower ranks is you may not deserve to he there, but your teammates do. So you can have all the game sense and mechanical wonder in the world, if you die and your team is worse than the enemy, majority of the time you are going to lose that round. The frustrating part of siege is that you can clutch rounds by yourself but it is a team based game. If your teammates don't know about basic rotations on site, callouts, or strategies with specific ops for sites, it makes the game not as fun because there's a lot of miscommunication. Assuming they even talk at all, which is a big problem these days. I cannot tell you how many times I try to communicate with my team, maybe ask for a hard breach when I play thatcher, and they just act like they can't hear me. It makes no sense. Why are you playing a team based game if you don't want to play as a team?
@@artemthetrain14 yea, but if you know how to play him, he can be a competent roamer anywhere under plat imo, his gun is weak yea, but his barricades on popular entry spots or blocking an important angle, so you can hold somewhere safe, wasting utility/time, and giving intel when it breaks, and secondary shotgun for vertical play
I play castle alot and when someone else picks him and starts castling all entrys to site I start to cringe so hard hahah. I just pray they learn from the mistakes
Mute, Kapkan, Bandit, Frost all that I play in rank for a good reason. Nomad, Buck, Gridlock is all I play in rank. I just been doing duos my one friend plays wamai on defense, offense it is maverick, nomad, or gridlock. We open up walls on attack, and keep the walls intact on defense. We do everything we can to carry our teammates to victory.
I'm watching this and I'm left completely boggled. I love defending and this vid makes me think of what I should do.... Though I'm aware that it'll take abit to get out of habit.
22:39 This is me. For no reason at all, I just GET Clash. I'm really bloody good with her. I've clutched games with her. Yet people watch me clutch, and then will still tk me the next round.
hey man! I'm new to your channel and know you probably won't read this but I'm a solo queue plat 2 player and kinda been stuck here for about 4 years. I was really intrigued by you mentioning that people are relying on these "tips and tricks" and it's making them worse because I have very specific solo strats I run on every site so I was curious if maybe this was why I've been stuck in plat but I already knew everything in this video (Great video with great knowledge by the way! No hate intended.) so what would you guess my issue is for getting better? I find that I end up always being the top frag despite being a support player. Been quite frustrating. Any advice would really mean a lot. Thanks in advance.
positioning is so important and most of the time your positioning and movement will overcome people w good aim even if you dont have the best, brain over aim is basically what im saying
I find the best way to play is to just figure out yourself the best operators for you by playing them all I use these videos simply to learn how all their abilities work and how to properly use them Everyone has a different play style
I’m a ex diamond and champ from back in the day before they added that laser doorway gate operator and I gotta say I like your channel and it tempts me to dip my toe back in
Hopefully this helps every other video tells the obvious no offense I just wanna get better from average because I'm a dead weight in a carried game but I'm the carry in a derpy team
What you were calling a half Rome is what is actually called flank denying or also entry denying that's how I play Siege all the time the information that you're telling us is something that I put in practice I only have like 90 hours in the game but I really do appreciate this guide and these tips because some of these I didn't know a lot of it I didn't know when I'm learning how to play my position a whole lot better as an entry denier
Try to limit the amount of angles you are exposed to at once, or use info ops like lesion/alibi/kapkan and use the gadgets to cover your back while you take gunfights face on 👍
@@Poxonlox thank you, I mean I do do that sometimes by using flank drones and gadgets when I have it, but i often have someone rushing past all my stuff in multiple. Best I can do at that point is reposition or rotate out and behind I suppose
I legit got TKed one time for picking Castle purely because either the guy was trying to be edgy or he was legit racist. PS: I know this because the guy got on the mic and talked about Castle's skin color.
yeah i need a video like this, i’ve been playing with my friends who are new to the game and i’ve just become a copper exterminator. back to plat baby B)
This and don't watch that much montage video, streamers play this every day a week and only get 10 minutes of those cool 4k 5k footages, don't expect yourself to do that every round as well.
Second floor hallway on kafe where the red stairs are the floor can be broke to watch the entrance of where bar is into kitchen u can literally watch all points of entry upstairs
use flash hider on automatics and muzzle on single fire. use vertical grip on all except if angled grip has okay recoil. laser is not necessary, but needed on shotguns if you are not ADS while using it. scope are personal preference. IMO best are holo A, holo C, reflex a, and russian reflex(i think c). for glaz use any sight with dot like holo C (cybertruck)
the problem with tips and tricks like this is people just turn their brain off and blindly follow these tips instead of realising their situational and to be used at your own discretion and to still use your instincts and brains, for example the if you don't here them on an unshot default cam, that doesn't mean nobody is around, they may have given you the false sense of security of cam being up and no sound just sitting in a corner waiting for your rotation
Your advice is great but I can't help think of that Mitchell & Webb cooking show sketch (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-i1NfWIaYed8.html ) where the expert shows how to cook a piece of salmon and the cook is dumbfounded because the pro chef makes it look so easy but the regular chef knows he can't do it. These strats are like that piece of salmon from the pro-chef. In your hands its a masterpiece, in mine I'd end up dead trying to hold freezer (I'm a hardstuck bronze/silver) or even if I survived, my team would end up dead and I'd end up in a 1v3+. It's exhausting 😫
he literally just made a video of the most basic things everyone already knows and does cuz it’s common sense shoot someone and move or shoot a drone and move
Hi wassup pox! I just found your channel, you seem polite and smart . (: Id really like to play with you one day. I know im just a random person on earth who asks you the same shit others prob. did too.. but do you think you`d be down to play some rainbow with me one day?
Team is the most important think in ranking up...if you are a really pro guy you cant rank up with shit teammates..and if you get low kills than your team so that rank is what you deserve
