What type of whistle does this locomotive have? It Sounds similar to a what a British A4 steam locomotive sounds like but louder! Oh and from my understanding this is an oil burner instead of coal buning!
You are correct in that R711 is an oil burner as it was rebuilt as such by West Coast Railway (Victoria) in the 1990s for a Regular Service run on the West Coast line down to Warrnambool.
