I feel This movie was way ahead of its time with respect to visual effects & cgi in India. The songs were really good & I guess this movie was SRK’s dream project. Also this movie won national award for its special effects
Not in terms of only effects and CGI, but in terms of plot too it was way ahead of its time.. a lot of people back then had no idea about artificial intelligence.. a plot like this would be so intriguing to watch in recent times
this movie came out when I was a kid. I absolutely loved the visuals, vfx and everything was just so cool. This brings back memories. I genuinely feel that the movie was ahead of its time. Hope you two will like it too

If one can appreciate a movie like RRR(with such a normal story), Ra one should be called as a masterpiece. It was a bollywood sci fi, so they added the songs. It was a srk movie, so they added a little romance, but the rest if the movie was totally science driven. Atleast they are not copying hollywood or south. They made their original. And as a movie fan, i like the difference between a 'Ra one' and a 'Robot' and a 'iron man'. All of them are scifi, but have their own speciality. Robot had the effect of Rajnikanth things, Iron man had the effect of RDJ, and Ra one had the effect of Srk. All movies were masterpieces, and all should be appreciated.
Bro, did u all noticed? Srk talked about Artificial Intelligence by saying, Ra one could learn over time by his experiences. That’s the basic concept of machine learning and deep learning in tech. This was even before Marvel to total reality of Jarvis. I love this. Srk literally made this movie with full concept. All the science references are completely brilliant. Amazing, I am out of words. Now I understand why this movie didn’t do commercially well, cuz nobody understood the high level science, and said that it’s childish. Bro, all of this was meant for all ages, it’s just that u all were illiterate in terms of computer science. We can’t expect much from a country who supported Bodyguard infront of Ra one, and is comparing Adipurush to Ra one. Ra one needed a lot of research, CGI, even the story line is great. Like they literally fused game and real life, that’s so cool. I don’t know about u all. Ra one is a 10/10 for me. Amazing
for an Indian movie from 2012, these visuals/ VFX are OUTSTANDING, mindblowing.. I just wish, this movie would had released in todays time , would have done much better at box office

Finally... a movie that wasn't loved back then but has gained love over the years for it's simplistic story line of good vs evil, superb music (Chammak Challo is still on everyone's party playlist) and groundbreaking VFX.
No matter what people say and no matter how childish it looked to some because they expected something marvel level, I wanna say this is such a sweet and engaging movie. My brother loves it too. It was way ahead of it's time.
Seriousl speaking bruh, I was expecting it to be better than a Marvel movie coz we have the potential to be better. But somehow we get carried away by I don;t know what but this movie was far from even being average.
i mean marvel had good budget always (iron man 2008 was 140million dollars budget)...but raone almost like 100cr rupees around.. so it did good with limited resoucres.. u just wont appreciate it..bollywood and marvel r two different things.. pls.. the budget...the artists r amazing there...but this movie was ahead of its time.. raone concept was unique... it was AI concept reallly... so dont give ur views if u dont know abt its backstory@@rahimbukhari6966
This is one of the movie which is ahead of it's time. SRK has wished to make a movie like that and he made it. The people were foolish to not to understand the idea behind it. But now they're getting the point of it. Just one of the SRK things.
This was my favorite movie back in those times when sci-fi in india was just beginning to develop. I loved Ra-One so much but everyone around me thought I had bad choices, lol. Now they know it was quite an impressive feat what they did at that time.
Akon singing 2 songs of this movie, a brilliant cast and amazing visuals. This movie really needs to be dropped at some sort of online streaming portal. ❤
You're watching the best Indian movie in terms of VFX and the sci-fi concept. It is done by India's best VFX company, Red Chillies, owned by SRK. He revolutionized cinema with this, and since then everyone's trying to have a go with VFX heavy projects.
The fact that it was one of the earliest cgi in Bollywood and they did such phenomenal jobs...i remember as a kid watching it and trying to create the Ra Ons heart from clay lol...i still have the VCD of this film...but sadly the film wasn't recognised well at all,im glad a lot of people are finding about it now

movie came out when i was 4-5 yrs old…still one of all time fav…i used to watch it literally every single day in summer vacation ( not kidding )with my frnds and a vid game based on the character was also released i still have that game

A movie which was released in the wrong times . What an epic movie , the only flaw i saw in the movie was the Airport sequence that was a bit cringe apart from that an epic movie that people didn’t appreciate that time . Salute to Shah Rukh to bring VFX and Technology to Indian Film Industry 🔥🔥

Oh mann feeling nostalgic 😢...i remember when this came out i was 10yr old and sooo excited but we didn't had cinema hall nearby also i didn't had money to buy the dubbed cassette but finally after 20 days i collected enough to rent it for a day...that was mg first shopping for myself and the first work i did all by myself ❤️❤️❤️😭...i was sooo happy, even after watching the dubbed version without quality

I saw this at my relatives place when I had gone to stay there for the first time. They dint like it and changed the movie mid way. I really loved it. But had to wait a long time to watch the whole thing in one sitting. It's a fun movie❤

Say whatever you want but this movie was suuuper underrated and I was the only one supporting it in my class as a kid when it was running. The VFX was crazy for 2012 Indian cinema. Way better than Aadipurush 2023.
