The quality of your products, the great pro videos to explain everything and the sound of your "HI EVERYONE!" are priceless. You are in my airsoft tech olympus. :)
Longer form of NPAS valve gives a lowest fps so the shorter valve gives maximum fps. Actually NPAS gives only a little increase of fps. It's major goal is to give you mechanism to lower your fps for different situations like CQB.
Great video, ra tech has great products, but it always makes me laugh BC its like they are filming on someone's pool table in their basement, and their English is understandable, but funnily bad... I needed to know how npas works, and now I do so thanks.
sometimes i find non native english speakers to have funny accents.. then I remember that these guys know at least one entire other language on top of being understandable in english
They do have a bolt made for the GHK AK series with the NPAS kit, however I'm unsure if it works with the 2011 model. Also, just got my GHK. These things are amazing.
I've had the Tokyo Marui MWS NPAS for a while and I've found that it is not consistent over time due to the two rubber washers stopping the thread moving not stiff enough - I've unscrewed it and put a rubber o ring between the disk and the valve body over the threads to hold that setting. I've heard somewhere that you can buy proper shims to more accurately and permanently set your FPS, has anyone seen them?
That would only be true if you didn't have a hopup. My 0.7J KTW shotgun with hopup has about the same range as my 2.6J CO2 revolver which doesn't have a hopup. And the shotgun shoots more straight. Your gun probably has a hopup, you just don't use it. Look for a dial near your breech.
@ ratech5915 What is the maximum inner barrel length i can use with that NPAS at the moment i'm ussing a 509mm 6.01mm on my WE M16 plattform, it works fine but what about a 540mm or 640mm, possible? without fps los? or consistency los?
recently bought 2 magnetic locking nozzles from RA tech, one for WE scar and one for GHK AK. Both had parts of it snap off right after installment, but never had any problem with RA tech stuff before. Batch control problem?
i have a we m14. if i get this npas kit what would be the lowest fps it can be set on because i want to use my m14 for indoors also. indoors in my place is 320-340 fps does it go that low?
The boss, johnny, maybe a fob but he drives a lambo. That tells you how successful this company is. I got most of their part on my gun. Tell you the truth. Their shit is the best replacement part. They all intact with minor wear.
2011 and 2012 are pretty much the same. 2012 has the scope mount the 2011 doesnt. but i just got my 1joule and its amazing problem is it just broke haha have to send it back and get another from samoon.
FPS means very little for performance. This is a good thing, as your MP7 is now actually CQB legal. As long as your bucking/barrel combo is good, and your FPS is consistent, your range and accuracy should be good, despite a low FPS (which has very little to do with range or accuracy)
The research done on Mcarterbrown seems to show that less dwell time and faster discharge rate equates to higher gas efficiency. Low pressure does not always mean high efficiency. Just some FYI. Not relevant to video. Maybe RA-tech should make their own GBB. One that doesn't suffer from cooldown.
*IcedThy* what do you mean? *Jello* No, I think it's exactly as I wrote it. btw I have the NPAS for the KJW and I have to confess one bad thing... If I adjust it and fire a couple of shots, the NPAS tends to get squezzed by the recoil and become tighter, increasing my FPS... So, there's that
Yeah, not all NPAS are that great on all platform. The MP7 NPAS for example only has a range of 250-350FPS. On my WE SCAR though, I get a 250-400FPS range. You may want to consider converting a normal bolt into a NPAS by tapping the nozzle to accept a screw. There are several videos online to do this. It seems complicated but it is really simple and cheap to do. probably only $20 to do it yourself and you can do it on as many gas blowback guns as you want.
Johhnny/RA-Tech I don;t know if you are aware of this, FPS change doesn;t typically shown up until the NPAS is on its maximum length. I believe the width of cylinder have to do with it. Why didn't you guys make an bullet shape cylinder so FPS variation can be made easier? Currently to have a RA-Tech Custom WE M4 at 380fps w/ 0.2g you need to open to the point ~1.25 revolution can seperate the cylinder and disc valve.
@TheUTNUT If the cylinder move with the disc valve when you try to adjust it the overall length does not change, therefore you should prevent the moment of the cylinder.
@1776PatriotTeen I know that you can do it yourself but to stay legal you have to go to a gunsmith. But the German law is not very specific about airsoft guns so you can do a lot to your guns without having too many issues with the police. I mean there are a lot of player who just use a body with a F in Pentagon on it and build a complete new gun of course illegal, and use it without problems. But its just safer. Not that i care too much about it. Btw the WE M14 is very nice, have it myself.
@HDROSpieler123 Or you can just install yourself. It's not that hard. Your government isn't going to know EVERY single airsoft part! Oh and by the way, simple solution. KEEP IT ALWAYS BELOW THE LIMIT! They won't know if you don't tell them. They will not look completely thoroughly into the gun. That would violate even your countries privacy laws. And finally, they would need the tool supplied to even make the adjustment. Just ship the tool separately. That's what my friend did to his WE M14...
@1776PatriotTeen In fact all modifications that make the gun stronger are illegal or require a gunsmith to do it and a new permission and all that stuff, new F in Pentagon. A lot of people still do it and the police basicly doesnt care as long as its below 7.5J and Semi auto but when they take it and test it youre screwed. Sry for you that you research on wikipedia.
