"You stole my slime tokens"... "You stole half my archetype" literally made me cackle with laughter

In Japanese, the Blaze Accelerator cards are called Blaze Cannon. Ra's attack in the anime was called "God's Blaze Cannon" so, when they printed his "signature attack" card, it was also indirectly part of the Blaze Accelerator archetype in the OCG. Hence why it needed that clause for the TCG.

Something about 2 Obelisk's crashing into each other resulting in both players taking damage is pretty dang anime and I'm so here for it.

The obelisk vs Ra game 3 really felt like the anime because just as you think one person has won the other does something to stay alive and comeback

Honestly had a blast editing this one for sure! Always a pleasure getting to edit these duels! for those who notice some of the ost I usually use are from the YuGiOh Tag Force games! They have an amazing ost that fits with the guys dueling always!

This felt like an anime battle alright; OP anime effects chained to op anime effects, Gods leaving the field and coming back, 5-digit attack and LP values, board wiping effects everywhere, a real back-and-forth slugger despite the 2-0. Very entertaining!

You guys probably get this a lot but oh man, you guys are my favorite yugioh channel ever. All of your videos are amazing. My favorite member is Paul but I love all of you, keep up the amazing work!

This duel reminds me that Kaiba and Marik never dueled each other it would have been cool to see

Breaking Ruin God is such an awesome card! I love how Paul won the first duel with it, but I loved it even more when he tried to do it again and gave Alec a scare! This was by far my favorite Battle of Gods!

That Soul Crossing play in Duel 2 with Egyptian God Slime and the Surprise effect damage in Duel 1 of Obelisk's new support were the best parts of the this video. Also, all the LP gained from Sun God Unification was insane! Good job Paul and Alec! Love your channel!

As someone who is new to the post-2006 scene, I really appreciate you guys slowly explaining the cards. Anime voice intonation is definitely a plus.

Favourite god card is slifer, awesome card art, was red, it having X000 attack on the card was epic back in the day

This felt like a battle between god cards. Especially the last duel where there's opportunities to deal major damage, but also gain major life points !

It’s a shame that Obelisk doesn’t have an archetype to go alongside Slifer and Ra. But on the flip side it makes it interesting to see what kind of deck the user builds to compensate for that. 🤔

Can’t wait to see the Slifer build. Hope it uses the poker knights. They are some of my favorite cards here lately. Finally have the set in collector rare.

7:27 You can only use each of Guardian Slime's effects once per turn, and it only gains DEF for one attack, so it can't survive 2 attacks.

These duels between the god card archetypes are crazy, I love how wild the effects are for some of the cards

Alec in the 2nd duel: Not again. Amazing duels, I liked the first one more due to burn damage, but the 2nd one definitely had more strategies implemented and Alec fought till the very end.

Oh, this is super interesting!! I've seen these 3 Divine cards back in those days but they look different now.

Try running Spooky Dogwood in Ra for extra LP gain for everytime the opponent special summons. Also try traps like Ferret Flames to clear opponent's field for Ra to make direct attacks.

Great Duels! but at the end of game 3 The True Sun God would've stopped Obelisk from attacking the turn its special summoned on either of your turns. It locks both players out so he'd get summoned, can't attack that battle phase, then he'd send himself in the end phase. crazy strong card. Regardless, another killer video from ya'll!

Slifer was always my favourite god card until I realised how much more consistent obelisk is and also because kaiba used the card and he was my favourite character from the anime

We need ygo game type that locks you in 1 or max 2 Deck Archetypes like this duels.

Funny, watched a video that explained how Oblisek didn’t have much support cards to help search it and increase the affect of it compare to Ra, that video was posted about 2 years ago. So now they made Oblisek much better than they were before. Oblisek was my first and only god card when they were first introduced 15ish years ago.

My Obelisk deck is mixed with ABC. It's on point for the Kaiba theme and I can tribute the three ABCs to summon out Obelisk

Obelisk is my favorite just by a little over Ra and cool duels, I hope these cards get added to master duel not too long from now. I noticed a mistake when normal summoning Ra, you're supposed to banish ancient chant first so you can the attack and the Defense of the Tributed monsters not afterwards. I love the cards. We just need an archetype for Obelisk though to search his cards.

I play a deck with all 3 and they have their purposes. I’m happy to play with whichever one I can summon. •Ra - if you have all your life points and you want to be able to overwhelm your opponent or even wipe them out at once •Obelisk - if you’re in a light spot and need someone to come out and beat down almost anything that your opening brings out •Slifer - if your opponent likes to special summon a billion cards per turn

Time out. I saw an illegal play on 9:24. You have to banish ancient chant in order for Ra to gain the attack and defense points of the tributed monsters before you actually summon Ra! But its a fun duel over all. Just noticed this while watching the video

It's always fun to see Gods fighting and deciding who is the strongest... was not expecting Obelisk to win though. This was so good! I can't wait for Part 2!
