The mighty F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet! Lt Adam of the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) entertains the crowd in a single-seat F/A-18A before the start of the Bathurst 1000 V8 Supercar race at Mount Panorama, NSW. Some pretty slick maneuvers! Unfortunately there were several poorly-timed driver interviews where they didn't even bother to show another window for the Hornet, grrr!, so i clipped those, but otherwise this is everything ch10 showed of it. Hopefully next year they'll give this beautiful bird the full coverage it deserves! RAAF also have F/A-18F twin-seat Super Hornets since 2010 to replace the F-111 fleet.
