Amazing fretless bassguitar raag performance. Sounds really great. Played with so much feeling and skills. Thanks for sharing. Wishing you a blessed friday. Full watch, like nr 115 and subscribed 🙂
Thanks . Still listen to my Ravi Shankar recordings. Have seen him live with his Daughter Anoushka. Also seen Anoushka live. Also had the honour of sharing a stage at a workshop with sitar master, Imrat Khan. See my video.Saffron Sunrise for pictures. Memorable occasions.
Very nice Indian music. Are you using the roundwound strings or perhaps flatwound strings instead. Your playing is so smooth and I do not hear any noise created when moving your fingers up and down the fingerboard. So it's difficult for me to determine the string type you are using, I would guess that they are flatwounds. I play many Indian Instruments as I really like their music.I also play fretless bass guitar with round wounds. I just received a Glarry Fretless bass with roundwounds. It plays very well and the price was very affordable. I think later today I'll play some Indian themed music because you have inspired me to do so.Thank You! - Peter age 73
@@duendedude2345 Light gage roundwound you say, that's good to know, thanks for your timely reply to my question. I think coating the fretboard with superglue is an excellent idea. I will consider doing the same for same for mine. I had forgotten that I asked you a question, in fact I came back to your video in order to hear your playing again. I am hearing good tone and rhythm with interesting rifts. Indeed I am hoping that you make more videos similar to this one and of longer duration so people like myself can really spend time listening to your artistry. - Peter
@@PeterDad60 The strings are 40- 100 round wound. I have been considering making longer videos as this would be more natural for me when I get in the zone. However, the average viewing time is under 2 minutes. Think I'll ignore that in future and just do my thing. Thanks for showing an interest.
