Who else can sing like this other than the Ustad. Kedar in his voice is just divine. The shades of Madyam in Kedar is just infinity, which Amir Khan Saheb keep on revealing in different musical context of soulful combination. There no harshness or an agressive musical phrase. If it fast it is as much clear and meaningful.

I recorded it on tap record from radio when it was broadcast in 1993. After search I could find in one hmv cassette from Aminabad. That time it would cost a reasonably big amount of 45-50 rupees. Film song cassette were available at Rs.20-25

An era ended when Khan Sahib left us. His mastery over the ragas coupled with his magnificient baritone voice led him to occupy a place in our hearts that can never quite be replaced. Thanks for uploading.

Are bhai, hum to ustad aamir khan ji ke kayal hai aur aage bhi rehne waale hai....chahe koi kitni bhi koshish kar le, inke jaisa classical koi nahi gaa sakta, aisa mera manna hai. 😃

yes, this is "chandani kedar " , in this rag komal nishad is used more than shudhh nishad .Dr. karkare , M.D. [Pathology ], M.A. [classical vocal ]. singer, doordarshan .

There are clearly distinctive phrases that mark Chandni Kedar from Kedar or Shuddha Kedar for that matter. Please don't create confusion by unnecessarily renaming a well known recording. Moreover, what is "Yeri thu" sir? That's "Eri to" -- this is how these words are written even in Hindi.
