Hats off to the channel for the excellent service being rendered for the cause of the great Indian music for bringing out the beauty of various aspects of ragas discussed.
Best hindustani singers are show cased in every episode. We get transported to divine world. Also words are not enough to thank the persons conducting the program. And the sweet and melodious voice of Mukund ! Fantastic.
i must appreciate you all, as very good project you have undertaken to introduce various indian raagas. Raggas and it's beauty, and songs based on them. All the best to your channel.
Pandit ji, Namashkaar, Very heart touching performance of raag kirwaani. Both as learner and the listener are blessed to hear this raag.Thank you so much for the efforts you made for this performance.
Chanchal prakruti , Shrungar ras ? Really ? Mujhe to rona aata hai every time I listen to this Raag. I then have to listen to Bilawal or Durga to cheer up and feel better again.
Sriman Raghunandan Panshikar and Dr. Nandita Datay....and all participants....Great work, greater presentation and totally mesmerized at the details of this awesome raag..Kirwani. Dhanyawad to all of you for your contribution. This raag - Kirwani - has contributed to so many evergreen songs...like "Mere naina sawan bhado" from movie Mehbuba, " Jeeta tha jiske liye " from movie Dilwale, "Deewani mastani" from movie Bajirao mastani...and so many hundreds of such gems. Kirwani-based song and gazals are generally everlasting....thanks again.
@@satendrapatel7103 Yes sir, that is correct . I was studying Shivranjani and Kirwani simultaneously in a very tightly scheduled timeframe and got myself mixed up on those two songs that you mentioned. Thanks for that distinctive clarification.
Both Raags uses both ni.. but in kirwani komal ni is vivadi.. and in sindh bhairavi both ni are almost equal.. moreover chalan is different of both raags
In my opinion carnatic singers give more importance to the mathematics ignoring Bhaava....For eg: Take the case of Vrindavani sarang...Carnatic singers sing it without any emotions but presenting complex swaras...I don't feel any emotions while listening carnatic rendition....but whenever I listen vrindavani sarang sung in hindustani style it brings goosebumps and tears ....Whenever I listen to Pt. bhimsen joshi's rendition of vrindavani sarang I can't control tears ...
@Ramarathnam KV This is not Mayamalavagowla, that has a komal re while this raag has a komal ga. It is known by the same name in Carnatic music. Apparently this raag was borrowed from Carnatic to Hindustani
@@ykongbam Thank you.The first lesson in carnatic music is in Mayamalavagowla starting from sa, ri ga ma pa da ni sa sa ni da pa ma ga ri sa known as Sarali varisai followed by sasa riri gaga mama papa dhadha etc...known as Janda varisai followed by Varnam and Keertha..So the first lesson in Carnatic music used to.be in the RAAF Mayamalavagowla.
