Raag Marwa is a very melodious ancient Raag which has inspired countless compositions by famous musicians over centuries. It is the primary Raag of Marwa Thaat sounding most beautiful at dusk but is a Raag suitable for both day and night performances. It is a difficult raag to sing and it creates a somber, introspective mood that takes you away from the material world for a period of time.
This performance was part of a casual devotional evening in our backyard with a close group of family and friends.
