Nikhil Banerjee, even so many years after his untimely death, is too me the most profound, the most creative sitar player. Unsurpassed.

As I noticed, live performance also varies from one sitting with the other in same raaga of same performer, I've One of Panditji's recording of Rageshree that's of 1.13.44 hr has mesmerized me so much that I don't get any match of his own or of any other great Sitarists. Sitar is most fav instrument and Rageshree One of select raga. The more I listen, it reminds me of Ustad Amzad Ali's words that " Nikhil jee is the All Time Great Sitarist, surpassed by none". It's Simply Celestial ❤️
