Kaushiki Chakraborty is one of the very few young legends that the world has seen. Her astonishing and enriched vocal excellence is the result of years of intense training and perseverance. Hailing from Patiyala gharana she has embraced all forms of Indian classical music with equal expertise. oday she focuses on Hindustani classical music, but has also sung in films and recorded popular songs. She also leads Sakhi, a diverse group of female musicians and dancers. This rendition on raga Shudh Kalyan is one of her finest renditions of this raga.
